Welcome to Ripple, a serene waterfront retreat set on 2+ private acres on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Nestled along Nassawadox Creek on the Chesapeake Bay, the home offers peaceful seclusion while remaining conveniently located between Cape Charles and Onancock.

Ripple is a one-level home designed for comfort and ease, featuring a fully equipped, updated kitchen and an open living area with ample space to unwind. The remodeled bathrooms include deep soaking tubs and a walk-in glass shower. Four bedrooms accommodate up to 10 guests: a primary suite with king bed and en suite bath, an additional king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room. A washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Outdoors, enjoy a private dock, a screened-in back porch with a luxurious hanging swing, and a firepit with seating. The property is ideal for kayaking, bird watching, fishing, and quiet time spent outdoors with family and friends.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior disclosure. The waterfront property is expansive, private, and unfenced.

We held a family reunion here three generations, and we all thoroughly enjoy the property. It was quiet, clean, well equipped, and the host could not have been easier to work with. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet waterfront retreat on the Chesapeake.

My family had an awesome time over Labor Day weekend staying at Ripple! (While we waited for the house to be ready, we took a short trip to Kiptopeke and saw the concrete ships. So cool!)Ripple was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with our children, 21 and 24. It was peaceful, relaxing, clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We made sure to take our fishing gear, and spent a lot of our time out on the pier catching croakers, speckled sea trout (?), and our very first cobias!We are already talking about our next stay at Ripple. That time can't come soon enough! :)

We loved our accommodations and the thoughtful details throughout the property. It was cozy comfortable while maintaining a clean minimalism that made it easy to navigate the house and its features. Our dog was as much considered as the human guests and we all found surprising and cute dog friendly items too. Thank you for making our first time on the shore for my son, and decades later return visit for my mom and myself so special.

The house was located in a charming, peaceful neighborhood. Uber delivered groceries, and the dog enjoyed himself thoroughly. As soon as you step outside, the scent of honeysuckle quickly fills the air. Also, the home has a stunning kitchen with everything needed to cook and a cozy soaking tub, all adding to the home's appeal.

VERY clean home. Full kitchenette, good selection of seasonings. Comfortable for our family of 10. Provided safety vests for kayaking. Prompt and kind response from the property manager when we had a couple questions. I would rate this definitely 5 Star stay, very quiet serene location if you want to 'get-away'. I look forward to coming here again soon.

Amazing views from all rooms! Beautifully decorated but still very homey.Every little possible need was met.Plenty of in- house entertainment for all age groups.Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked and organized.Cannot say enough.
Master bedroom is enormous and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom.

We had a wonderful week at Ripple. The kids ages 6-14 loved the kayaks and exploring the creek. The house was well appointed and comfortable. It was a lovely, quiet, location with great outdoors space. The host was easy to contact and quick to reply. Thanks!

We stayed to do a fishing tour in the bay, and it was perfect. It was extremely clean, and we loved the layout. It had plenty of space for our family. It has a nice dock and a fire pit in the backyard. Overall, there are only good things to say about this property. If you are planning a visit to the area, it is well worth it!

Beautiful Ripple

We had a small family reunion and 8 of us stayed in this gorgeous water front property. It was perfect in every way. The home is spacious and open with lots of room. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the screened in porch and sitting on the dock. I cannot say enough good things about this property. We will be back next year!!

A. I can’t say enough good about this house, property, and owner. This house and surroundings are amazing. The dock at the water was well used. Early morning coffee and sunrises. Waterside chats, Bald Eagles, jumping fish, Blue Herons. The house is very well done. Very recent upgrade to everything. Baths are upscale with Luxurious towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. House has Updated lighting throughout. Screen porch was very nice to use. Bedrooms have very comfortable and plush beds. Also comfortable and spacious living and dining room, large and modern kitchen, new appliances. Plenty of separate areas for quiet space and conversation. Comfortable furniture in great condition. Very clean. New Flooring. Large fire pit for evenings around the fire. We planned a kayaking trip in the area (love the area) and had a great time here. Pet friendly. Definitely Highly recommend this house.

What a Great Week!

The house is beautiful and the little extras were greatly appreciated, like washing machine pods, hair driers, trash bags, and hand soap. We liked the shower amenities and high quality towels. The views of the water from the house and dock was great for crabbing. Very clean and thoughtfully appointed. Kitchen was great - loved the fridge with built in water jug and touch faucets. Beds were very comfortable While we didn't use the kayaks, that was a nice option. However, not sure where to launch since the dock was high and the one landing had debris and tall grass. Screened porch was awesome. Internet was ripping fast

The home is a true refuge in a beautiful setting. The view of the water and the surrounding trees is stunning. The home is spacious, airy and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a very relaxing stay and a wonderful chance to get away from it all.

This was an amazing place to stay. A beautiful house with anything you can think of for your vacation. Plenty of room for our family and such an amazing location. I would recommend this for any family looking for a peaceful and private vacation stay. It is just a short drive away from many different things to do for day trips. Also a great place to just stay, hangout, and unwind.
