Le Gîte du Pont de Cause
The gîte is ideal for a couple or small family. It is modern and bright, with a lovely open plan living space, comprising; fitted kitchen, living space and dining space. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a family shower room and separate WC. Outside there is a private seating area, along with other sitting and relaxing areas, and access to the shared swimming pool (10m x 5m).
Enjoy the long Perigord days by the pool. Explore the garden where everyone can find their own space to relax. Indulge in the pleasure of reading and simple relaxation or go out and about to explore the beauty and treasures of the Valley of the Five Chateau.
The ambience at La Maison de Cause is that of a warm, country house. The accommodation is organised into Le Gîte a two bed property which can sleep four comfortably and L’appartement a large open plan space which sleeps two. Both are decorated in a modern sophisticated style mixed with traditional pieces and local touches. Le Gîte and L’appartement are located on either side of the main house.

Edward and Gary Slark-Hughes moved from the UK to France in 2022 settling in the beautiful Dordogne region. Ed worked in property and Gary worked in marketing and communications. We moved to the region with our miniature dachshund Freddie to enjoy a more peaceful life. We are currently working hard to learn French.

Located between Castelnaud la Chapelle and Saint Cybranet in the beautiful Valley of the Five Châteaux, near the river Dordogne, bordered by famous castles such as Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, near the typical villages of Domme and La Roque Gageac, a five minute drive to Les Jardins de Marqueyssac and only 12km from Sarlat. Minutes driving to all the major attractions of the valley, 20 mins drive to Sarlat with its winding streets, markets and all major amenities, cycling/ walking distance to the restaurants, boulangerie in Castelnaud. The perfect location from which to explore all the region has to offer.
