We booked this Santa Ana property for a week-long softball tournament, prioritizing a full kitchen, A/C, and laundry accessâall of which were advertised. While the space had some appealing qualities, our stay ultimately fell short The unit was clean, recently remodeled, and had Spanish-inspired touches. WiFi was reliable, and hot water lasted through multiple showers. The Ninja blender and coffee maker were helpful in the mornings. Two of the three A/C units worked well; one struggled to cool effectively. We also appreciated that the host allowed us to park in an alternate spot when our F150 didnât fit the assigned one.Challenges included:âą A slow-draining shower and a leaking faucetâą A minimally stocked kitchenâonly two pans and one dish, with no dishwasher and dishware that didnât feel cleanâą Only four towels and two washcloths for a group of four staying eight nightsâą Off-site laundry was hard to access, often full from cleaning crews, and no detergent or quarters were provided. 1.50 wash and 1.00 dryâą Beds were uncomfortable, and noise from neighbors, traffic, and late-night activity disrupted sleepâą Sheer curtains did nothing to block the bright exterior lights at nightâą Host communication was slow; auto-responses didnât address our concernsOverall, the unit looked nice in photos, but comfort and functionality didnât meet the needs of a family on a week-long stay.
