Mermaid'sens Pillow presenterades under hösten 2015 upplagan av My Outer Banks Hem. Jag blev kontaktad angående en artikel med rubriken "Downsizing med Charm". Vi har turen att vara ge centrum gånger. Dessutom var min stuga lyfte i den årliga "Parade of Homes" sponsrad av Outer Banks Homebuilders Association. Vi är glada att kunna meddela att vi tilldelades "Builders Excellence Award" av domare och med över 900 besökare genom stugan vi röstades "Folkets Choice Award".

Stugan ståtar klassisk Nags Head stil med moderna bekvämligheter. Färg-TV, kabel, internet och dockningsstation. Fullt utrustat kök med elspis, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp och diskmaskin. Tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Handikappvänlig sovrummet & bad har stor rulle-in dusch och dubbla fåfänga med kast-under-funktionen för rullstolar. Övervåningen har 2 sovrum och 1 badrum med dubbla fåfänglighet. Ramper fram och bak gör för enkel åtkomst. Privat i mark pool i inhägnad bakgård. Cornhole brädor tillhandahålls.

Beach Cottage

Prefect Family Spot

Great Getaway

Mermaid's Pillow was the perfect beach getaway! This VRBO exceeded all expectations. The location was fantastic, the home was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-notch. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

Great Little Cottage Across from Beach

My friend and I loved this little place just a few steps away from several beach access points. The kitchen was well appointed with you might need (except for groceries). NOTE: while it was disclosed several clicks into the property description, we didn’t read that deep to see that bedsheets and towels were not provided. We assumed, based on the price point, that these items would be included. Despite this lack, we would both definitely re-rent This property.

Amazing Week at the Beach

We had a wonderful stay at The Mermaid's Pillow. It was our first real vacation as a family of 3. Close beach access and the pool allowed for us to relax with our 7 month old in tow. We would highly recommend a stay at The Mermaid’s Pillow!

Love the cottage

Wonderful weather. The cottage is perfect for a small group. Pool very enjoyable. The cottage is always in perfect condition. This was our second stay!

Great Cottage in Nags Head!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mermaids Pillow! The house was very clean, well stocked, and in a great location. A public beach access is right across from the house making an easy stroll to the beach. Comfortable beds, clean pool, great working AC. We had a great time! The host was very responsive and thoughtful! We would definitely recommend! Have fun!!

Perfect Stay in Nagshead

This property was the perfect house for our family. We had 5 adults, one of which is in a wheelchair, and an infant. The house was spacious, accommodating, and was very inviting. It was across the street from the beach access, and only a couple of blocks from the handicap beach access. We had an amazing time, and made lots of core memories. I highly recommend this for your next Nagshead stay!

Amazing stay!! Girls 30th Getaway Trip

3 Generations at the Beach

Three generations enjoyed our stay at the house! The beautiful kitchen was put to good use and the pool was a fantastic bonus to have during our stay. The accessibility of the house was important to us, and the proximity to the disability access point to the beach was extremely helpful. We also loved the indoor and outdoor spaces designed well for time together as well as time for folks to have quiet time for themselves - chairs for reading on the back and front porches (with the best cup holders for mugs of coffee and tea in the morning!) Thank you!

Amazing cottage!!

The cottage was amazing!!! Great location and everything was spotless. The owners were fantastic to work with, and it is clear they take great pride in their beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the pool was a wonderful plus. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely Cottage!

The pictures simply do not do this lovely cottage justice. Lots of natural light throughout, great outdoor space, and only a short walk to the beach. Cottage was spotless and kitchen well equipped. Awesome stay!

Since building our home we have a new son-in-law who is a quadriplegic. Our home is not accessible and their visits required staying in hotel. We decided to build a handicap accessible beach cottage for the use of our family & to put in a rental program. Our belief is that there are many families and/or individuals who will benefit from such a cottage. Whether is be a wheelchair, walker, cane or artificial limb. Although it is totally handicap accessible it is also the perfect cottage for those without disabilities.

Unique, cozy, affordable & conveniently located. Beach access is a short walking distance away with ramp leading to viewing platform. Open floor plan on ground level with master bedroom/bathroom. Covered porches front & back. Rear ramp make for easy access to pool deck & backyard. Plenty of parking.
