The inside of the property was lovely. A few minor repairs are needed but this did not affect our stay. The outside was not as clean and tidy. The grill was rusty and not usable.

Niceley remodeled house. Ample space for my party of 5. Host response was quick and the booking and checkout process was very smooth. 15 min from downtown and 40 min from Jones Gap state park. We really loved the kitchen and living room being open to each other.

Clean, bright, with well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Living space is comfortable for 4 people. Will was responsive and prompt. When we arrived, our code to unlock the front door didn’t work. We were able to get through to Will within a few minutes, and he gave us an alternate code which worked.

So clean and they thought of everything you might need

We rented this property for two weeks while purchasing a house in the area. It was by far the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed. It’s been nicely remodeled and they have absolutely thought of everything that you might need. It was located in a lower income neighborhood but definitely safe. Neighbors were friendly. We arrived just a couple days after the storm and everything was ready for us when arrived. The property manager contacted us several times before arrival and was so kind and answered our questions. I was hoping the back yard was completely fenced being a dog friendly home. But it’s not. Not a big deal. The only thing I would change is that it’s a little over staged (lots of decorative pillows, extra furniture, decor/accessories). It made it a little difficult to live in since it’s a smaller home. But that’s just me being overly picky. It’s a lovely place to stay and we had wished they had availability to host us for one last week before closing on our home.

We were so glad to have the home ready for you just a couple of days after the storm, and to stay in touch before you arrived. Thank you for the thoughtful notes on the backyard and decor, and congratulations on your new home!

False advertising

We have been specifically looking for a house with a king bed. In the features list it was advertised with 2 king beds. The description explicitly said that one of the bedrooms had a king bed. When we arrived none of it was true. Each of the bedrooms had only a queen bed. That put a big dent in our vacation enjoyment. There was only one nightstand and one night light in each bedroom. That was very inconvenient. We had to get a chair from the living room and a light to have a makeshift night stand. There have been no kitchen towels, so we had to buy some and wash them to be able to dry our dishes. No can or pot for making tea. We had to make our tea in a sauce pan. There was no manual or description on how to work the Roku box for the TV. We think the owner never slept in his own house to see how everything works and we have been probably the first renters. We demand a partial refund for the false advertising which was a major drawback for us.

Hi Dirk, I am so sorry you felt this way about your stay. We have plenty of pots and pans to make anything you want in our fully stocked kitchen. There were also kitchen towels there as well in the closet and in the kitchen. We have over 50 5-star reviews on all of our booking platforms for just this property. Again I am terribly sorry that you did not have a great stay. I will make sure all of our pots and pans are still there(aswell make sure the listing is correct). Thank you so much for the feedback because it truly helps us stay ranked the highest in the area!

Nette, ruhige Gegend.
