Located in quaint Holderness, NH, this property includes: 2200 sq ft., 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a livingroom with a fireplace, a sun porch sitting area/ dining room, a finished basement area. Nearly an acre of private land ... 220 feet of lake frontage with a large dock for two boats. There are 3 buildings on the land; the old pump house (shed), a two story, two car + garage/barn, and the 2200 sq ft cottage. The cottage is an ideal getaway for large or multiple families. With no abutting cottages, the backyard provides incredible privacy. Large yard and carefully maintained wooded area with custom paths. Plenty of room for adults and children to play and explore. Located in the town center, the property is very unique and sits between Walter's Basin Restaurant and the Squam Lakes Marketplace. There are also two Marina's, including the one seen in the movie 'On Golden Pond'. The house is on Little Squam Lake, located right near to the canal which leads to Squam Lake, which provides incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The Squam Lakes Science Center is also within walking distance. Winter activities include snowmobiling, skiing, and ice fishing.

June stay

Over all it was good, the bathroom on the second floor had no cold water, had to brush the teeth with hot water, also the second floor has no A/C, just dehumidifiers which didn’t keep the rooms cool. The two bedrooms on the first floor had window a/c. The house is fine just needs some updating, new paint, stain the deck, fix the faucet.

Great Property

Plenty of room for 2 families. Great yard for cookout, games and fire by the lake. Swimming right off the dock with a ton of lakefront usage.

Great weekend!

Such an easy time communicating with the host - from beginning to end! The accommodations were exactly what was needed for our group. Although we had bad weather, having a spacious place to hang out really helped. Very large property on the lake with plenty to do. We definitely recommend this for mid-sized groups and those looking for that true New Hampshire experience. Close to everything and a short drive to Laconia but far enough away for peace and quiet. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again Greg!!

Great place!

This is a great property with a large house, a game room in a barn, a lovely backyard, a little beach, and a dock on Little Squam. The lake is beautiful both to sit by, swim in, and canoe on, tho we would have been happier had there been fewer power craft around. The house itself was well appointed and very easy to get used to with a terrific sunroom and porch. We were there on some quite hot days but the breeze was such we never even had to test the AC. There's a very nice typical touristy market only a few steps away and they had very good take-out. If you want to stretch your legs, there's a fun formal garden a few minutes up the road by the Nature Center both of which we found much worth the visit.

We are the Kalivas family and currently reside in Methuen, MA. We have enjoyed this property to the max since we purchased it in 2014. We come up regularly with our boys, Sam, 19, and Corey, 15, as well as our friends and families. We enjoy taking our boat out on both Little Squam and Squam Lake when we are here, playing whiffle ball in the yard, sitting by the fire at night, and always up for a ping pong game in the huge barn here.

This property is on its own penninsula right in the center of Holderness! Our neighbors are Walters Basin and the Squam Lakes Marketplace. There is a private dock and 220 feet of shoreline. It is almost on an acre of land and is extremely private. Recently updated Kitchen, bathroom, hardwood flooring just completed and looks amazing! There is a private driveway with plenty of parking available. Boating provides pristine views everywhere you look!

This place is extremely unique, hidden, private and right in the center of Holderness, NH! Private dock for your boat as well as swimming in pristine Little Squam Lake. It is right next to the canal which goes out onto Squam Lake. Everything is in walking distance from here... Walters Basin, Squam Lakes Marketplace, a marina on both sides of the property, and the Golden Pond Country Store. Our view from the dock on Little Squam is the marina which is shown in the movie "On Golden Pond". This is truly unique and unlike any other property in the area.
