We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Lauderdale by the Sea. Judy's place is immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and includes all the amenities we could possible need! Judy is an amazing host who is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed lots of time in the gorgeous pool area - the outdoor space is well maintained and the plants and decor make it a lovely place to relax. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, and the supermarket. This was our 3rd time staying here and we will look forward to coming back again next year!

Another perfect stay

Second time staying at Judy’s and we loved it. LBTS is a great town and we will stay at no other place than at Judy’s. Perfect Place

The place is very clean, the landscaping and pool area are perfectly maintained, the neighborhood is quiet and a 5 minute walk to a beach that isn’t crowded. Very relaxing environment. I will stay there once or twice a year.

Nice and quiet relaxing retreat!

I wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved the apartment. It was clean and very comfortable. Very easy to get to all the locations in the area. We highly recommend the SeaWatch Restaurant if you are looking for good food but not so much of a party atmosphere.

Thank you Judy for this wonderful stay!this place is just perfect if you want to relax but still not far away if you want a bit of action. 2-3 minutes to the beach and 5 min. to the city center, on foot of course. just great.The house and the entire complex are very, very clean and beautifully furnished. The outside area is beautifully planted and well maintained.You really have everything you need to stay for a longer period of time.Judy is a wonderful host who always helps you when she can.Again, thank you very much for this great vacation and we will see you again, 100% Greetings from Hamburg/Germany,Philipp and Franzi

Excellent Stay

This was our sefcond stay at this magnificant property. You would be hard pressed to find anything better. Location perfect, beach two block away, every thing walking distance, Great seafood restaurans. Blue moon seafood, Shooters, And theres another one just before the bridge on commercial Blvd. Forgot the name but it's fantastic. Also the host Judy is the best.

Great stay, more than expected!

I can sum it up in one word “perfect”. We have been using HomeAway for about 5 years and this property was overall the best yet. Small but there wasn’t anything more we could ask for, very well furnished, spotlessly clean and a great location for our purposes. If your looking to stay in this area don’t pass it by, we plan to return.

Everything we had hoped for!

The property was exactly as advertised and pictured, one of the most well maintained and charming places we've stayed. It was just the right size for my husband and it. Beach and shops were a 5-10 minute walk. Publix was a 5 minute drive (walkable if you wanted). Kitchen, laundry, and bath were well stocked and maintained. It was too cold while we were there to enjoy the pool, but it looked fantastic! Judy was prompt and great to talk to.

Perfect Home

Judy's home is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation! She has thought of every little detail to make her home spotless, comfortable and homey. You can enjoy the pool and relaxing with a book in her beautiful, quiet outside sitting areas. The furniture in the living room and the bed are so comfortable and the whole house has cute beach decor. We enjoyed talking to Judy and appreciate her warm hospitality. We have visited Lauderdale by the Sea on many occasions. Judy's house is definitely one that we will be returning to. Thank you Judy for sharing your beautiful oasis!

Perfect Oasis

This property is just as pictured. Just beautiful and within walking distance to all you need, if you even feel a need to leave. Judy is very responsive and the pride of ownership and the attention to every detail is unmatched in any rental we have ever stayed at in the past. Every inch is beyond clean. We only went to Fort Lauderdale to visit our son who is interning there for the summer. LBTS is now on our return destinations list even after he goes back to school. It was a perfect and relaxing few days away. Thanks Judy!!!!

Check in was seamless and what we needed after a late flight. The kitchen is fairly small, but had everything we needed and more. Judy thought of everything as nothing more was needed in terms of kitchen items required.

Beautiful property and wonderful host!

This was our first time visiting LBTS and we could not have picked a more beautiful, well maintained rental to stay in! The house is so charming and well stocked with everything needed for a perfect stay. The landscaping and pool area are stunning and Judy was the perfect host!

Like having you own villa

This accommodation is very clean and fully equipped being well looked after by the owner.The property itself has in my opinion a unique cottage style and having the fantastic pool to yourself was a real bonus with plenty of umbrellas, plants and flowersfeels as though you have your own villa.The location is perfect for the restaurants, bars and beach all within short walking distance.Really enjoyed our stay.

Accomodations were very clean and well appointed. Very close to coffee shop, breakfast diners, restaurants, beach and great people watching. Grounds and pool st the house are beautiful. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 10 days including Christmas day and this place was perfect for us, a cosy home away from home. Everything is provided and Judy does an incredible job of looking after you. The apartment is beautiful, very tastefully furnished with all modern tech as well - 40"inch smart TV, Soundbar, Alexa and. a Bose radio

Awesome stay!

This place was exactly as described -- clean, great location, adorable details, has what you need, cozy and comfy, awesome outdoor area. The host was great! Very responsive to messages and our request to check in early. She makes it very explicit on the page that she lives in the other unit; we expected to see her a couple times, and we did have quite a few interactions daily and there were a couple maintenance people cutting in and out through the pool for a couple hours while we were out there. It would have been helpful just to have had a heads up before they were suddenly letting themselves in through the gate. Overall, an awesome trip and would still recommend people staying here! We walked literally everywhere, except to/from the airport.

Growing up in the Carolina's, I enjoyed visiting my grandmother in South Florida. I always loved the warm, sunny, tropical climate! After completing school, I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1980. It was the beginning of a 29 year career as a flight attendant with a major airline. I'm retired from the airline industry, I enjoy being at home and maintaining a beautiful cottage style home and my guest.

I have a passion for decorating and gardening!

I've really enjoyed meeting some terrific people through my VRBO experience. I look forward to meeting you!

I've lived and visited so many places during my life but somehow always found myself returning to the place I call home, Lauderdale By The Sea, Florida. It just feels good....

Why stay in a hotel or condominium building when you can have your own private place with only two units on the property?? Lauderdale By The Sea (LBTS) is a walking community. Every morning neighbors are out walking, enjoying their morning coffee, breakfast on the pier, beach, boating, shopping and just enjoying the simple things in life! It's rated one of the safest communities in Florida. It's peaceful with a wonderful ocean breeze! I love living here! It's such a unique coastal town with so much charm.....
The property is located in a quite area on the north side of Commercial Blvd. One block to Publix Grocery store, 3 blocks to beach, shops and restaurants. Las Olas Blvd. is a quick 10 minute drive down A1A.

This property has only two units. I take great pride in my property and want you to be as comfortable as you are in your own home. You will find everything you need and more! It's not your typical rental! Please read all my wonderful reviews from tenants.

At night the property comes alive with landscaping lighting! Take a night swim under the stars while enjoying cocktails & poolside BBQ. This property isn't just a rental, it's your home away from home! It's a Happy place!! You won't be disappointed!

Jump on the water taxi and cruise the Intracoastal Waterway sightseeing. There are bike rentals nearby, Publix grocery store and shopping center 1 block away. LBTS has it's own fishing pier with restaurant. It's easy to vacation here without a car.

Most folks return year after year for their annual vacation in Lauderdale By The Sea. I'm very pleased they choose my home to be my guest again....

Lauderdale By the Sea is a very well sought after community. The town is full of beach side charm. LBTS completed a major face-lift costing millions of dollars. Their plans included more side walk cafes, live entertainment, upscale shops, wider sidewalks, beach area seating, landscaping and much more for everyone to enjoy! We have a Farmer's Market monthly and free dance lessons at the LBTS Pavilion every Sunday during the season.
