Nice clean place with plenty of room

Nice clean place with plenty of room. Easy to walk to the boardwalk/ beach as well as to the restaurants. Would stay here again.

Lovely house in quiet, residential neighborhood

Selena was a gracious host. Her house was a great location to the beach and beautiful boardwalk. Three friends were very comfortable there. Great well equipped kitchen and lovely porch/deck. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms are dated but fine for us.

Beautiful home

I absolutely loved this house. It was well maintained and immaculate. The house was within walking distance to everything making it convenient to run out for a quick bite to eat or a walk on the boardwalk. The rooms were nice an big and there was plenty of space to unpack our clothes in the closets and drawers. Selena is a great host and she is very responsive. She has made this house a great place to relax and unwind.

Great House!

We loved our stay. The house was a perfect size for our group of 6 and we enjoyed all of the space for relaxing both indoors and out. We all loved the newly installed outdoor teak shower. The place had everything we needed to cook meals and spend days at the beach. Host was very nice, responsive and flexible. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

Selena was a fantastic host and we absolutely loved our stay! The home was spacious, super clean, comfortable, fully stocked with everything we could ask for - kitchen, games, towels, beach gear, We are a family of five and had plenty of room. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and walks to the nearby beach and boardwalk. Highly recommend- we’ll definitely return!

Charming and cozy stay

Great location - couple of blocks from the beach and restaurants and shops. Great price. Very cozy and charming - the property is a little older, with some parts that have been redone (kitchen), but some still a little older (bathrooms). The backyard and porches are awesome. Owner responsive and helpful. Would recommend for a family of 6 or group of 6.

Charming

If you're familiar with Long Beach, you'll love and appreciate the appeal of this home. It's a home that fits what Long Beach was not what it is now. Open area for the kitchen/living/dining, fabulous balcony (great to nap on), bathrooms are nostalgic, master a little small but again true to traditional Long Beach home. As for the host... a gem! Very welcoming, great with communication, helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay on short notice

Was super happy to find this location on short notice and loved everything about our stay! The host is so accommodating and quick to answer questions. The home is one of the most stocked I've ever stayed in with many plates, glasses, utensils etc. that other properties usually skimp on. The front and rear patios are spacious and great options for entertaining. The home is 3 blocks from the boardwalk/beach and the rental includes beach access passes which is a huge plus. Even beach gear like chairs and wagon are included! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Home away from home

Man Micheal was a great host and he has a special home that welcomes you, plenty of room indoors and out, has everything you need it’s in a great aria with lots of restaurants and the beach was within walking distance and very nice beach. Would definitely go back to Micheal’s house and that area in Long Beach. Thank you

The beach is close, but the balcony is closer

Great stay. Super close to the beach. But the 1st floor balcony also got plenty of use! Great way to start and finish the day. Host was extremely flexible on check in and check out which was a huge help as we we travelling from overseas. It is just the top floor - exactly as advertised. But there was plenty of space for us (family of 5). Thanks for a great beach break.

Nicest host, great location

There is something very welcoming, homey, warm, and friendly about the home. I can’t put my finger on it but it is an immediate vibe. It might be all the art and books, and comfortable beds and furniture? I don’t know but I look forward to returning. The house was completely stocked with everything we could need, as promised. I especially appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella! The neighborhood is peaceful. I loved listening to the birds in the morning. I wish I’d taken advantage of the backyard; I spent every possible moment at the beach instead. There were a few very minor issues with the house now and then, but the host was so lovely about it. She is not just gracious but also her communication / responsiveness was great. One of the issues is with the front door key. Tip that she provided, and that worked perfectly: DO NOT put the key ALL the way in the lock - it won’t turn if you do that. Wiggle it out like 1/8th of an inch before attempting to turn.

The apartment was bigger than it appeared online and better stocked than any rental I have had (games, books, toys, extensive cooking tools, Apple TV streaming...). Michael was available quickly by text, and came in person when needed

Amazing month In Long Beach

We had an absolutely fantastic month at Michael’s property. The location was perfect, 2 1/2 blocks to the boardwalk, and a 12-15 minute walk to the train every morning for my commute into New York City. The house was lovely, the bedrooms comfortable, and we could not have been happier. Michael also provides a ton of beach equipment and all the linens were already included, which made life so much easier for our family considering we were driving from the Midwest. Pro tip: there are outdoor balconies at both of the front and back of the unit, so when the weather was nice there was plenty of room to spread out which really comes in handy when you have teenagers like we do :) Thanks again and see you SOON!!!

Great location; helpful owner

We stayed at this property for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. My husband and I, two grown daughters, a son in law and a grandson. The property worked well for us. Michael was very attentive. Next time we hope for better weather, but the property was great. Very convenient to the beach and boardwalk.
