Efter en bra öppning 2015 ser och känns vår stuga fortfarande som ny när vi startar en ny hyresäsong. Alla bekvämligheter är färska och redo för 2020. Stugan ligger bara några steg från Frenchmans Bay och går på en stenig strand och nerför strandlinjen till ugnarna (grottorna). Njut av allt som Acadia National Park och centrala Bar Harbor har att erbjuda, båda bara några minuter bort. Koppla av i denna mysiga stuga med omgivande däck efter en perfekt dag i parken. Den kostnadsfria Island Explorer Shuttle ligger också bara en kort promenad från fastigheten om du bestämmer dig för att inte köra.

Great little cabin in Bar Harbor

I stayed here with my wife and 3 year old son for a week during foliage season. It’s a great location. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor and in a pretty quiet neighborhood. The cabin itself is perfect for a family of 3-4. Clean, all the amenities and comforts of home. Couldn’t be happier with choosing this cabin. Made a lot of great family memories there. Will definitely book again if we come back to the area.

Quaint log cabin close to Bar Harbor but just far enough where you can stretch your legs a bit.

Anniversary trip

This place was amazing!!! Close to everything,Acadia, Ellsworth and everything you would need. So much to do and a week is not enough time to do all of it, requires multiple trips. This is a great place to do that. Contact with the owners was great! Highly recommend a stay here.

Minnesotans First Trip to Bar Harbor

The cabin was very clean and cutely decorated to match the theme of the surrounding water and woods. A great location just outside Bar Harbor for visiting downtown and the very popular Acadia National Park. Loved sitting out on the huge deck playing cards or just reading a book! The owner suggested some good restaurants to try which were very good.

Beautiful place!

Halftide Lodge was exactly what we needed! We all live in noisy, light polluted cities & towns. It was beautiful, quiet, and so close to everything that Acadia and Bar Harbor has to offer. Booking process was easy and the host was wonderful. Excellent communication when we had questions after our arrival. And even more gracious upon returning something we left at the house. You will not be disappointed in this place.

Bar Harbor Trip

Cabin was very nice and within walking distance to ocean views. Only a 5 minute ride into bar harbor and park entrance.

Nice house!

Very cozy house! Blankets and bedding are all taken care of. A few more sets of dishes and some pantry staples (oil, coffee filters) would have been nice but not necessary! So many windows and cool nights made for good sleeping (including one of us on the futon, which was very comfortable.)

Amazing Location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean. I loved that the linens and towels were supplied. Everything was so close by. Right down the street we picked up the shuttle that took us downtown into Bar Harbor. We didn’t have to worry about the limited parking or have to pay for parking. The shuttle service was very accommodating. It will take you all over the island if you look into it. The first day there we went to the visitor center which was very close. We learned about the shuttle services and which places to hike. The weather was amazing most of the week but even when we had a rain day we enjoyed hanging out in the cabin. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot for an evening wine and cheese date under the cover from the rain. We also walked to the rocky beach down the street. Beautiful view but as another person commented, it was a steep rocky climb down, not for elderly. The cabin is also minutes away from an excellent BBQ and ice cream place which is across the street from mini golf! When we go back, we’d love to stay again at your cabin, Michael.

Great stay!

We loved our stay! The location was very convenient. We were a five minute drive from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center at Acadia National Park so it was easy to get in and out. We would park our car there to take the Island Explorer down into Bar Harbor as well since the parking in town was hard to come by. The cabin was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed.

Rustic Cabin

This was our second stay at the Rustic Cabin. The location is perfect! The cabin is spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We hope to make a trip back to Acadia in the near future will love to stay here again!! Thank you so much!!

Quiet, peaceful area

Quiet, peaceful area away from the crowds of Bar Harbor and Acadia. Pebble beach down the street to stroll on for hours. Sites along the beach were porpoise, seals feasting on schools of fish and a Bald Eagle flying by.The cabin which we stay nine years prior was clean and comfortable and had more amenities than our first visit. A/C was needed on a couple of days. Beautiful cabin and great location!!!

Convenient and comfortable

The location is great with an easy drive into the Park, to Bar Harbor and over to the Quiet side. The neighborhood is quiet, the wrap around porch and back patio are great and the yard is pretty with wild flowers and trees and even a little view of shimmering water through the trees in the back of the house. Inside the house is very comfortable. We hope to have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Fall trip to Acadia National Park

Great place to stay. The cabin was super clean and well stocked. Very convenient to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor while still being private. Spent five nights here and wished it had been five more!

Amazing week!

The cabin was perfect for our stay in Acadia! The cabin was perfect in every way and definitely met our expectations. The host was quick to respond to our reservation requests and Che in and our was easy. The location was perfect and only a few miles down the road from the Acadia National Park entrance. Wonderful stay at the cabin. Was very cozy & beautifully decorated. Lovely location. We would definitely stay there again if vacationing in Bar Harbor again. Could stand some improvement with better quality toilet paper & replacing Queen mattress.

Lovely Cabin Close to Park Entry

My husband and I booked this cabin because of its proximity to Acadia NP. We were very pleased with the accommodations - clean, comfortable, cozy, and close to the park. Also, the property owner was very helpful and responsive. I definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful space and perfect location

My husband and I just spent our 4th year renting the cabin! We hope to return for many more visits. The hosts are wonderful, and the cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
