Disappointed in the condition of this unit
I stayed in this condo in June and have been to siesta key 6 or more times and stayed at numerous properties. This place was terrible. When we arrived both toilets were broken, the ice maker was broken, there were no wash cloths as promised, nor was there a hair dryer as promised. The front door knob just spun and the front door lock was almost impossible to open with a key. Two times I couldn't get in the unit and was calling someone to come help me. I was told all front door knobs were made to spin for security reasons yet, the other people we met had knobs that opened the front door. The unit was loaded with damage to the walls, the front door was all cracked up and splintered. The furniture was worn and dated. The leather couches were shredding in the back. This is not what I expect for the weekly price. I do not expect the most updated condo. I expect cleanliness and functionality. Two toilets not working is not a functional unit. When we entered the condo the first day, the frame around the bottom of the dishwasher was just laying in the middle of the kitchen floor.
I would not stay in this property again and given that it's managed by a company through midnight cove I would not consider staying with them again. When we reported the issues, some were corrected but at no time were we offered any money off on our vacation. Our Inlaws stayed in another unit and had no hot water in a shower and despite numerous complaints it wasn't fixed. The management company actually told them it was fixed. One person came up, felt the cold water coming out of the shower and said, "after such a hot day, wouldn't a cold shower feel great?" Quite a disappointment for a week away from home to relax. Given we occupied two units with multiple complaints and time taken away from our vacation to get issues corrected, I would consider looking elsewhere.
