Positive points: Nice, well-furnished, large screened in patio. Large dock. Good air-conditioning. Nice views of the lake. Clean house and windows.Negative points: Very skinny lot sandwiched between the lake and a moderately busy/noisy road. Steps and walkway on the north side need some TLC and updating. The upper level appears to be a modular addition which has a significant amount of VOCs being released, especially from the kitchen area and cupboards. When using the air-conditioning the downstairs runs on the cold side. The downstairs has a musty smell. The stairs going between the 2 levels of the house are steep. Canada geese frequently visit the narrow grass area so expect goose feces. Notes: Wear gloves if you use the garage door. When checking in make sure the beds have sheets.

Very nice, but

Family of 5, kids 7,8,13. Very nice accommodations, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not having to be all in one room. Nice bedrooms, not huge, but enough room. Kitchen very clean well equipped. Here’s the But, Very uneven concrete, so many trip hazards. This is the area on the lakeside. Concrete is slanted and the ends just drop off where it meets the other concrete. You can see it in the pictures on the site. We were very careful yet one of the kids did trip and cut his knee. I hope the owners fix this area, it would make it so nice if it was leveled. Very young and the more unsteady adults will find this a hazard. On a good note, the dock is very nice, the lake is nice for using the kayaks provided. Just not a swimming lake due to all the rocks and weeds. There is a machine that’s on the lake a lot to cut the weeds and keep them down, although because of the weeds, it's a good fishing lake. To sum it up, our only concern is the concrete hazard lakeside. We did have a very nice time. We won’t be back to this property only because of the lack of swimming.
