Great location! Wonderful space!

We had a great time at this location. Unit was clean with nice furniture. We were told as soon as the unit was ready before our check in time. Great access to Schitterbahn and the river. We are already planning another visit!

Great setup

The overall facilities were great! The kids had their own space and the outside area was nice. We had an issue with the kitchen sink and maintenance came right over. There was apparently a shuttle to Wurstfest but we were never informed about it.That would have been great information to include in the check in book. . Also, do note that the bathrooms do not come with any kind of shampoo or soap, so definitely bring your own from home. Overall great place and we would stay again.

Best location to hope in the river and float back to condo

We’ve gone to the area for 20+ years and found this location a few years ago. There is a public river entrance just a five minute walk away. You can hop into the river and float an hour or longer to the backside of the condo. Walk back to your condo or float again. Super easy and fun.

Great condo to float river

Nice condo! Exactly as described. Right on the river and next to schlitterbahn. Floating the river was very convenient and after a long float we walked back down to the bridge and did another 40 min float. Perfect location, comfortable rooms and clean! Would stay here again.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was good, clean and and well maintained. I lost my pink paper parking tag during the thunderstorm that came through. I parked my vehicle directly under the condo carport located right in front of the property we were assigned. My license plate number, vehicle description and my name was listed on the application for the property. My vehicle was towed. $291.00 and a one hour round trip drive I had my vehicle back.

Great location!

This unit is in a great location! The view of the river was beautiful and the back patio was perfect. My husband and I spent every morning on that patio drinking our coffee and enjoying the view. We ended our days there, too. We had a great time and it was very peaceful.

Camp Wernacke Getaway

Overall we were very satisfied with this unit and Camp Wernacke grounds. The unit is a bit dated in some regards but still has everything you need. Beds are comfortable which is always a plus. The tubes included with the unit was also nice so we did not have to rent or purchase or own. We went to Schlitterbahn twice so there is not a better location. Grocery/convenience stores and many restaturant options are close by. I would recommend to a friend or consider coming back in the future. Our family had a great time!

We did not feel suffocated like hotels sometimes can due to the limited space. Our view of the river was great and made for a calming experience. Noise was not an issue. Only issue I had with our stay was the main entry door, it felt like that it would not be difficult to open using a little bit of force. I still highly recommended this place if your looking for a home away from home feel.
