The Fully Equipped Kitchen has lots of Cooking Gadgets for the Chef.
Dine outside on the Roomy Patio, 2 tables, seating for 6.
Two Comfortable Bedrooms have Queen Size Beds. Linens are provided.
There is plenty of Closet and Drawer Space. Each Bedroom has its own TV.
Smart TV. Free High Speed Internet and Premium Cable.
Air conditioning available in Summer months (portable unit) in Living area.
Our unit offers Two Full Bathrooms. One is an En Suite bathroom. Towels/Washcloths/Makeup cloths are provided.
The Coziest spot would be the Living area! Both the Sofa & Loveseat Recline!
Watch a Football Game or just enjoy sitting by the Fireplace.
Sugar Top Resort is adjacent to Sugar Mt. Ski Resort, home to the best Winter Sports in the Southeast. Golfers will love the close proximity of the Sugar Mt. Championship18 hole course!
Downtown Banner Elk Home to Lees Mcrae College is a few minutes drive from Sugar Top. It has a beautiful Park where a creek runs through it nice playground equipment, picnic tables, restrooms, kids love wading in the clear shallow creek in the Summer!
Many restaurants and quaint shops are easy walking distance from the Park.
There are countless other activities for all Ages ; White Water Rafting is a popular activity for families in the area.
Grandfather Mountain State Park just a few minutes away offers Hiking & Walking Trails, Mile High Swinging Bridge, the Nature Center is great for Kids, Wildlife Habitats too. Grandfather Winery is open 7 days a week.
Tweetsie Railroad in Boone a long time favorite for kids.
A short drive away is Boone (Appalachian State, Downtown), Linville (Linville Falls), Valle Crucis (Community Park, Original Mast General Store) and Blowing Rock (Town, Park, Shopping) Must see towns!

We love our place here at the Top! the Quiet of the Resort and that Everything .. Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Shopping & Activities are so convenient! You can do alot or little of nothing & have great Mountain Getaway Memories!

Larry & I are originally from Columbia, S.C. (We live about an hour East of Raleigh now.) We fell in love with the NC Mountains many years ago! We had owned (& renovated) a lovely log cabin on 22 acres near Boone for 15 years, we were 5 Star hosts with VRBO most of the years that we owned the cabin :) Our favorite thing to do is travel! We have been many amazing places in Europe, US, & Mexico. We think... we are semi-retired from renovating houses and hope to travel more!!
We sure love to be in the mountains of NC.
We are foodies, so we enjoy great places to eat. You will certainly find that here! So much to do nearby as well.
Or you can just hang out and take in the views and the perfect mountain breezes! We want to share this Happy Place with you & your Family! Hope to hear from you soon!

Anytime of year is a great time to be in the Mountains! All the surrounding areas.. Boone, Linville, Newland, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock,
West Jefferson, Beech Mt. have Unique Shops, Restaurants, and Places to Explore.
We like the small, community of Sugar Mt. as it is not far from the more populated tourist driven are.as. Larry & I do like convenience:) all you need is here in the area.
Skiers paradise in the Winter! Sugar Mt. Ski Resort is right next door, walking distance! Summertime., all kinds of Festivals every weekend, Farmers Markets, Ride the Ski Lift, you will appreciate the mountains in full bloom! Tweetsie Railroad in Boone is a long time favorite for kids..for Many, Many years. We so appreciate the kind people you meet in everyday life here.. store employees, restaurant staff. , they are so helpful everywhere you go in these "Neck of Woods" as they say:)

Larry & I think we have the Best of both Worlds..Ski Slope View & Mt. Views as far as you can see! The changing of the weather patterns is quite unique from our vantage point here!
Our furnishings are very Comfortable and our floor is very Peaceful & Quiet.
