Om du vill njuta av Cape May på ett vackert läge är The Eldredge House ett av de mest historiska husen i regionen. Du får countrycharm och mer integritet än de flesta hyreshus, men med moderna, uppdaterade bekvämligheter.

En annan sak som skiljer det från många hyror är att alla rum har ett privat badrum. Du får 4 sovrum och 4 bad! Fyra sovrum har också en platt-TV och hela fastigheten har trådlöst internet. Bonus sovrummet är en liten sol veranda som har en full storlek futon finns i den.

Hjälpsam under den hektiska säsongen är den privata enheten till massor av parkering utanför gatan.

Ligger en lätt promenad (4 / 10's of a km) från Cape May's vackraste strand, Cove, får du också lite lugn och avskildhet från de stora folkmassorna. Cove Beach är känd för sina vyer över Cape Mays berömda fyr.

För att göra saker bekvämt tillhandahåller vi en strandlåda, komplett med stolar och paraply som du kan hålla med dina saker precis vid havet.

Det finns många platser att umgås med. Hemmet erbjuder två vardagsrum, ett med en stor platt-tv, och det andra för att umgås med vänner, koppla av eller läsa en bok.

Inom trappsteg finns tre favoritrestauranger, en gourmetostbutik, kaffebarer samt en landsbygdshandel. Bekvämt och charmigt ... och igen, en enkel promenad till mitten av all aktivitet.

Great Location

This was a family vacation with our family of 8 and two toddlers. The house was very centrally located to lots of good places within walking distance. Washington Street and beach are a 15 minute walk. Todd was very responsive and helpful with any issues or questions we had. We liked the quiet street and the West side in general is nice and quiet.

Charming Comfortable House

We had a wonderful time. The house is great for a large group - lots of space and bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It is convenient to have the parking in back of house. The neighborhood streets off Broadway are beautiful and quiet. The walk to the beach is about 15 min. We did some shuttling of people to beach which worked well. Having bikes is useful too. We had a lot of fun and a memorable 4th of July (great fireworks viewing from the beach).

Beautiful home in Cape May, with all the charm and antiquity of the Victorian era. This home had everything we needed, phenomenal WiFi, and a great location. Wonderful house and stay

We spent a week here at the end of August 2020 and it was an amazing time. The house is beautiful, well cared for and has a ton of charm. The spaces are super clean and the furniture is comfortable. If you are looking for a house to call home for your vacation, this is it. I love the feel of an antique home and this place does not disappoint. I stayed here with my husband, 8 year old son and mother-in-law and we all loved it. The location is perfect if you are looking to be out of the fray a bit. It was close enough to get to everything, but the block was nice and quiet. We ended up driving everywhere, but if you rent a bike you’d be OK too. There are also a lot of places nearby to eat. Having off-street parking was such a boon. Todd was a super host in all senses. He was so responsive and helpful with recommendations. We had a situation occur mid-week and he was right there to fix the issue. Due to COVID, we weren’t really able to interact face to face, but we talked via text and phone and he was delightful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a fun and relaxing time! 5 stars!

Great place!

We booked Eldredge House for a three-family, three-gen week. It was an ideal choice. The house was lovely - each bedroom had its own bathroom - and we could park three cards (2 of which were SUVs) easily. It hurricaned during our week, and Todd was right there to move the tree branch that fell on one of our cars (no damage, thankfully). Would rent again in a heartbeat. (Our sole 4/5 rating was due to the outside furniture.)

The best place we've stayed in all the years coming to Cape May

Todd was a fantastic, responsive host. The house was clean. It was awesome not having to bring linens. There were 9 of us in our multi-generational family, including a two year old. There was plenty of room. We hope to be able to return.

Wonderful stay, property manager couldn't be anymore accommodating!

We just got back from our stay at the Eldredge House with a family of grandparents, teens, adults and a 2yo - and it was a great place for everyone. As many have reviewed, the farmers market on Tuesday is a delicious treat and relaxing evening. It's only minutes driving to the Beach Plum farm - and a short walk into town. The beach box came in super handy, and prior to checking in Todd added more umbrellas to ensure there was plenty of shade! I could rant on and on, but if you like a little of history and charm, you can't go wrong.

Our family had a great time at Eldredge House. It was so hot the week we were there and the AC in the house was great! Kitchen was perfectly equipped as were all the bedrooms. Thanks Todd for a great stay! We’ll be back.

We really love the historic Eldredge House, it's so great for us to live in a part of history and not just your typical vacation rental. They home dates back to 1778 and has modern updates but still maintains its historic character. Well worth a visit when in Cape May.

Awesome Home close to everything , Great Off Street Parking too

We had a great stay at The Eldredge House in Cape May. It is just a ten minute walk to the beach and very close to shops , coffee bars and great restaurants. We liked that every bedroom had its own bathroom and flat screen tv with expanded cable made it extra nice. We will be visiting again very soon.

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful experience. Todd was extremely receptive to our needs and offered great suggestions. The house has everything you could want and more. We used the grill one night and used the crock pot another. The house was about a 10 minute walk from the beach. Easy to bike ride to many destinations. Close to wineries, breweries, and a distillery. Beach box was a plus as there were many chairs for all of our adults. Overall, this place is a gem! Empenada Mama's and Cape May Crab Cakes at the Farmer's Market are delicious and a must do. Loved the music there as well.

wonderful family stay

Had reservations about young children in our party but Todd made our stay so relaxing and wonderful. This House is well stocked with every tool if cooking in. Todd is so helpful with events and info for the Cape and very accessible if you need to contact (which happened when I locked myself out omg! The house is lovely and we loved everything. Great beds!!

Beautiful Historic Home

Great central location, but set back in a garden so it's a quiet setting. Loved the beach box. The owner is easy to work with and provided excellent information.

We have owned The Eldredge House for almost 20 years and have restored it into a beautiful inn. We are now offering it for friends and families to gather, using the whole house and property for an awesome summer vacation. See many more pictures on our face book and other pages.

Cape May is one of the most beautiful spots on the eastern seaboard. The Eldredge House is located close enough to everything but offers country charm and quiet... The combo is great. Imagine having dinner together, surrounded by nature, and then taking a stroll together to the main pedestrian mall for shopping, mini golf and homemade fudge.

You will feel right at home here with details and amenities not normally found in rental properties. Amazing gardens (that you don't have to tend to) and a peaceful backyard and patio. The size of the property also makes this a unique offering at the seashore. And for those who love history, you can imagine all of the things that have taken place since the 1700's
