Discover the charm of our historic vacation rental, formally the renowned Lakeview Dining & Tea Shop est. in 1914. There might be as good of a view as Lake Superior and the Duluth Harbor but, you wonât find a better one. This transformed space offers a one-of-a-kind getaway in the heart of Duluth. Once a cherished hub for socializing, our property now invites guest to indulge in Duluthâs nearby entertainment attractions and natural beauty. Whether youâre enjoying panoramic views of Lake Superior from your window or visiting local shops, our charming piece of history offers an unforgettable package.
A short one block walk from the apartment and you will find yourself on the Lakewalk, an 8 mile long paved trail stretching from Brighton Beach through Bayfront Festival Park and into the Lincoln Park Craft District. Within 3 blocks to Essentia Health and St. Lukeâs hospital. Less than a mile walk to Bentlyville (in the winter), Bayfront Festival Park, the DECC and Amsoil Arena. Just open your door for a FRONT ROW VIEW to Grandmas Marathon race course in June.
*Park your car in the complimentary off street parking spot and youâll be able to walk to all of Duluthâs main attractions.

As you enter this studio style apartment, guests will descend a flight of stairs which will lead to the lower level of the building overlooking Lake Superior. This space includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping quarters all on one level.

For your entertainment needs a 55â LG TV is available equipped with local channels and streaming capabilities.

*Exceptionally convenient location to the paved Lakewalk, Malt Shop, Fitgers dining/shopping complex, Essentia Health hospital and local nightlife.
*6 great local restaurants located within 2 blocks. Sir Benâs-live music, sandwiches and great beer selections, Va Bene-Modern Italian Cuisine, Mexico Lindo, Fitgers Brewhouse Brewery and Grille try a Big Boat, The Boat Club fine dining, and Pickwick Restaurant and Pub.
The owners are available via text/phone from 8 AM to 10 PM for questions or concerns. Contact information will be provided at the time of your booking. Check in information will be provided at least one day prior to your arrival through email or the booking platform. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Opportunity for early check in/late check, based upon availability, may be possible out for an additional fee. Please contact owners for availability.

I was born and raised in Duluth. During that time I have experienced much of what Duluth has to offer, which in turn I'm happy to share my knowledge of the area with fellow travelers.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
Lakeview Tea is perched just above the Lakewalk and North Shore Scenic Railroad Tracks (a gorgeous scenic ride that has 3 round trip rides daily) with unobstructed, panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Duluth Harbor and the Aerial Lift Bridge. Everything is walkable from this location.
Did I mention the Lake is less than 75 ft away. You do have to walk over a block to get to the stairs down to the Lake and Lakewalk.
As a visitor this is the BEST spot to be! Within 2 blocks you have 7 locally owned restaurants that are the best in town. Oh, the Portland Malt Shoppe is only a few steps away. Also, the Fitgers Complex has great locally owned shops, restaurants and entertainment, a block down the street.
Did I mention the Lake is less than 75 ft away. You do have to walk over a block to get to the stairs down to the Lake and Lakewalk.
As a visitor this is the BEST spot to be! Within 2 blocks you have 7 locally owned restaurants that are the best in town. Oh, the Portland Malt Shoppe is only a few steps away. Also, the Fitgers Complex has great locally owned shops, restaurants and entertainment, a block down the street.

The large covered deck is the crown jewel of this property, from here you will hear the waves crashing into shore, watch the large ocean going vessels, sightseeing ships and fishing boats pass by and head under the Aerial Lift Bridge into the Duluth Harbor.
If you are lucky enough to be staying on a Wednesday night in the summer you'll want to grab your favorite beverage and watch the sailboats race on the lake.
There are so many sights to visit in Duluth but with a deck and views like these you'll have a hard time leaving!
