Just an okay place

If you just need a place to stay for a night it would work. Lacks a lot of basic things like proper cooking pans, utensils etc. The rat in the wall is pretty gross and seems like it has been there for along time according to other review. Place needs some maintenance and general upkeep and better bedding.

Great location not so good cleanliness

The big issues are absolutely no information in the house about location of towel, linens operation of appliances, or anything like we normally experience The two coffee makes were not operational. I would be surprise if anyone involved with hosting this house had seen the condition in month. However the location and floor plan made it possible to still enjoy our vacation.

The house is lovely but that's about it

We were not here on vacation unfortunately there was a death in the family and we needed a place to sleep. Upon arrival there was a radio blasting on the living room floor. Maybe this was on purpose but it was kind of odd. Then we discovered that there were no towels it was already very very late and after traveling all day not being able to shower was not an option so we had to use clothes to dry ourselves off. Not ideal. What we also discovered was that the bathrooms absolutely had no been cleaned. We booked last minute so honestly I get it, but giving us a heads up would have been nice. The beds are also a little bare, knowing beforehand that we would need pillows and extra bedding would have been helpful. There was a lot of weird stuff like a thing of paint and caulking sitting out on a table. The washing machine had someone's clothes like underwear and stuff in it and we just left them there because we didn't know who's they were and had no interest in touching someone else's clothing. There is also a rodent living in the wall that runs around at night and chews on things. This is a great house in a beautiful location but definitely needs some attention. The views are stunning and the kitchen was very nice!
