169 Ocean Street Field Mass. Perfect 180 graders havsutsikt från Brant Rock "High Road". Soluppgångsbilden togs från inifrån sovrummet och är typica !. Huset har varit i stort sett oförändrad sedan dess byggt över 100 år sedan. Home har tre sovrum, alla med havsutsikt. Tre kan sova i varje sida rum identiska havet - i dubbelsäng och inbyggd fönster dubbel säng. Tredje sovrummet har två enkelsängar plats för barnsäng (medföljer). Solrum med dagbädd kan användas som ett sovrum om så önskas. Stor bakgård och däck perfekt för underhållande. Parkering för sex bilar på tomten, som är avgörande i denna parkering dålig plats. Gas spis, morgon trappa, matsal stort nog för tio. Gas värme och gasspis. Stugan kommer med trådlöst internet, kabel-TV, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, sänglinne, allt ingår. Möbler valt att matcha huset. Förvaring i garderober, och inom mycket stora diakons stolar sängar med dra öppna dörrar. Observera att inga återbetalningar kan ges efter ankomst. Vänligen kom och besök huset förut för att försäkra att det uppfyller dina behov eller om du har en agent kommer du se huset på dina vägnar. Mycket glad att tillgodose dig.

Gatan:
Ocean Street är känd för oförändrade viktorianska eran stranden hem. Njut av en överblick över Massachusetts Bay från expansiva wrap runt veranda. Tidvatten pooler och sandstrand tvärs över gatan från hemmet vid lågvatten. Kallas "high road" för sin befallande vyer och skydd mot stormar, denna väg återvändsgränder några kvarter ner och används mestadels av barnvagnar och joggare.

En minut promenad till stan stranden, fyra restauranger och full service livsmedelsbutiker i Brant Rock "Esplanade". The Famous Fairview Inn är fyra dörrar till söder för fina restauranger och havsutsikt. Lämna bilen tomgång - gå överallt.

Icke sommarmånaderna: Vi har ett rabatterat dagligen, veckovis och månadskostnad för vintern med en tre dagars vistelse på minst. Home är helt vinterbonade och över översvämnings linje. Dramatiska vyer alltid och spännande men säkert att titta vinterstormar. Ett mycket bättre alternativ än hotellen för Thanksgiving eller jul besök. Support är tillgänglig 24/7 från mina familjemedlemmar som bor i området.

Cozy and Comfortable

Thank you, Patrick for a wonderful stay in Marshfield. The house was easy to find, had a beautiful view and was well stocked with kitchen supplies and more than enough bathroom linens. Due to staying in February, the weather was not nice enough to walk around and explore; however, if you do stay in warmer weather, there are several places to visit. Enjoy!

Very relaxing stay on the ocean

Visit was for a celebration of life event and the house was in a perfect location. The front porch facing the ocean was icing on the cake. Will book again.

Location! Location! Location!

This historic and quirky beach house will have you engulfed in the sounds and smells of the ocean. So many things within walking distance. Patrick was super helpful with providing information. You can tell he enjoys hosting and insuring his quest enjoy thier stay. We are forever grateful.

This was a perfect location and space for us while visiting the area and extended family!

Rental and communication was easy and efficient. The house was as described and was exactly what we needed for our combined working and exploring and family time. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great location for vacation

The view from the front porch is wonderful in both the morning and evening. There are great sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, there are seals in the water to watch. There is a sandy beach within walking distance. And 3 beaches within a short drive. There is a choice of restaurants within walking distance to satisfy different choices. A local market and stores to shop in. A wonderful ice cream shop open all day and even8ng.

The porch is the selling point

Another excellent stay here. Although it rained occasionally we were still able to view the ocean from the covered porch. This town is a real gem. The house is close to shopping and eating. Already looking forward to next year.

Perfect for us!

Wonderful gathering with family for graduation weekend

Nice house with a beautiful view of the sea. Loved the wraparound porch with hammock. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Well equipped for cooking and eating local seafood. Bring your bike or walk/run.

Charming home, fantastic view!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay with family. The home has plenty of space and everything needed for a comfortable stay, including stocked kitchen, linens, and paper products. The view on the porch is breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and I enjoyed walking my dog along Ocean Street each day. Thank you Patrick!! We hope to return!

Victorian Beach house

It was a great vacation. Sitting on the front porch with the sun rising and on the rear deck for sunsets are very relaxing. The house is inviting and cozy. The beach is close, as well as great restaurants. The ice cream shop has a great selection of ice cream treats. The staff at Salt and Water, make sure you go home with shirts, t shirts and other beach memories. The Brant Rock market will meet your shopping needs.

This was the 2nd time renting this beautiful home!!! The views from this home are amazing. Patrick is very easy to communicate with. Home is clean and well taken care of. This home is full of character. We just love the area. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance plus my pups love it to 👍👍

Great long weekend

We really enjoyed our long weekend in this special house. It’s much more unique than staying in a local hotel and the view was spectacular. It fit our family of five well and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent too. The house is right down the street from several restaurants and a small grocery store. Despite it being the off season, several places were open. The location was close to other nice towns and less than an hour from the Boston. I would recommend walking along Brant Rock Beach and listening to the waves flowing in and out along the pebbles. That was lovely. Thank you again for accommodating a later check out time for us and owning such a special place on the water.

Great location, beautiful setting

This was a great place for my extended family to get together and relax. The view from the porch is amazing: water, sky, rocks, birds, and lots of seals. The binoculars were in constant use! We spent several days at Green Harbor beach, tried out many local restaurants, did all the jigsaw puzzles in the house, took a hike at the Mass Audubon Sanctuary, visited the Marshfield Hills General Store (owned by Steve Carrell), and a few of us visited the cape for one day (within easy reach). The house is comfortable and has most of the basic necessities. The house could use a bit of a facelift due to its age and exposure to the elements. This is not a luxury vacation house but it was a great place to gather as a family. And you really can’t beat the setting. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect retreat weekend

A beautiful, charming seaside home was perfect for a weekend retreat from shoveling and looking at snow . The home felt steeped in historic memories and sits within walking distance of the Fairview Inn & Restaurant for lunch and dinner. In the opposite direction, the Jetty offered spirits and apps to enjoy with music overhead. The quaint Victorian home offered many supplies and was nestled among other neighbors who said hello, waved, and made you feel welcome. We enjoyed waking to see the sunrise from the main bedroom and will miss sitting on the porch with our afternoon coffee. We would not hesitate to visit again during the warm weather seasons. Thank you Patrick.

Reunion with kids after long separation due to covid.

Wonderful oceanfront view. Rocky shoreline. Great porch to watch boats, seals and wildlife. Short walk to restaurants and grocery. Older home with tons of character. Beach is downtown. We arrived in a very cold spring storm and left in hot humid temps. The downstairs gets very warm. 2nd floor has a/c. Many windows on first floor don't have screens so it can be difficult to get a breeze in the house. Patrick was very accommodating in scheduling.

We booked our stay before Covid and so waited until days before to pull out and not travel across the US from West Coast to East Coast and were told we would get our security deposit back (which we did) and were told we would be getting half of our money back, but we didn’t.

Wonderful ocean experience

My wife and I rented Patrick's house for a month to give my California-born wife a sense of a South Shore winter as we consider a potential move to the area. The house itself is wonderful - it's well maintained and exudes New England charm as it was built in 1910. The house is fully functional, comfortable, and pleasure to stay in. The house is a rock-solid testament to the quality of materials and carpentry that were typical of the early 20th century. During the two nor'easters that hit during our stay, the house didn't even twitch with wind gusts hitting 60mph. You cannot help but connect to the ocean, which is right across Ocean St. from the house and showed all aspects of its personality from a calm blue mill pond, to an unending train of large grey waves driven by the winds of the nor'easter. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks was magical. There is a lot to do around the neighborhood, even in the middle of winter - good local restaurants and markets. Marshfield and the towns surrounding it have a large assortment of restaurants, bars, and shops of all kinds, many of which pay homage to the rich history of the area. Patrick and his cousin Kirk were very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a New England seaside vacation home.

Getting ready for the wedding!

I got married over Labor Day weekend and my wedding party stayed here with me the night before the wedding… and then my husband and I stayed for a few nights after the wedding! it was the perfect location to wake up and walk the beach before all the wedding festivities. The views from every room in the house were gorgeous. Lots of parking. Easy to walk across the street for some wedding photos! The house is old but charming. Very comfortable. Nice sitting space. Thankfully we had one of the only nice weekends of the summer… no rain or humidity. The only disappointment was that the owner had told me there would be air conditioners in the bedrooms which wasn’t actually the case. He had assured me the sea breeze would keep things cool, but I was a bit worried that it could be hot getting hair and makeup done for wedding. But, thankfully we had no humidity that weekend and didn’t need them after all. I would recommend this house for a lovely, casual beachfront getaway!

We didn’t want to leave!

Margie’s Place was perfect for our vacation. The house itself was charming and had everything you could possibly need from cooking accoutrements to books and games. The owner has done a fabulous job of thinking of every little thing. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens provided. Great water pressure and must be good water, my hair looked great every day! Washer and dryer provided which was so nice. Furniture in the house is all nice and we felt so comfortable. There is a great feeling of privacy here even with other houses close July. I’m not sure why that is but you’ll feel it when you come stay. Location is wonderful. Close to lots of shopping by car and several restaurants within walking distance. We loved The Hop and had brunch there every day. There’s a small grocery within walking distance too. If you wanted to come you could park your car and never leave for your whole stay. You’d want for nothing. The house is located in a beautiful quiet enclave that feels very secluded and away from civilization. You can truly unwind and recharge here. The view from every place in the house is tremendous. The breeze is wonderful and when it’s too breezy the back deck is sheltered and sunny. We so enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the boats in the morning, saying hello to the many pedestrians on the sea wall, and at night stargazing (hardly any light pollution) and tracking planes overhead. We wandered the surrounding blocks enjoying the beautiful homes and dreaming of which one might someday come for sale that we could actually afford. And after coming home to gloomy CNY were even more convinced we want to move to Brandt Rock. We had a WONDERFUL stay at Margie’s Place and definitely plan to return again. Loved, loved, loved it! Thank you so much to Patrick for sharing this incredible treasure with others! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. It was perfect.

Fall trip

This property was right on the ocean there was a market within walking distance several restaurants and a couple of quiet bars there was a family of seals that kept us entertained the whole weekend also!!!! We had a blast we have traveled all over and we like going to different spots this was actually the first time my wife said she would like to come back to the same spot

Massachusetts native born and raised in Brockton. Used to come here constantly in summers. Loved it. Teaching in Vancouver BC now but plan to retire into this home eventually. In the meantime its my pleasure to make this home available to my family and a few select folks who may become family too!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This property was selected after years looking. Its above the flood line so has avoided damage for 100 years. Has a classic victorian summer cottage three sided veranda which sold me. It needed work and will require tinkering forever but thats its charm too. A huge number of people can gather to chat and dine either inside, or under the sky, or under the porch roof. Huge back yard makes parking a breeze and that ends up being more important than you think.
