Phenomenal place to stay

Phenomenal place to stay. We’ll be staying again when in the area. Not only a panoramic ocean view but also Mountain View’s all around. Very clean and comfortable. My wife loved the spa bath. Joan was generous with her welcome gift and the home had everything we needed from ziploc bags aluminum foil etc.

Cleanest VRBO EVER!!

My parents stayed here while visiting me and my family. All of us were amazed at how clean and new everything was. My parents loved the views as well. Usually I can find fault with something in a vacation rental, but that's not the case here. It was perfect and I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Oak Harbor!

Spa like getaway

Beautifully decorated place. The attention to detail and all the little touches of a home are in this place. The moment you open the door you feel at home. Everything is well laid out and anything you can think of is right there. The AC works great, The bed is really comfy, and the bathroom is everything you would want in a spa. Will book again the next time we are in town!!

Short Notice Naval Deployment

My stay at the Modern Guest Suite was exceptional, especially given the short notice deployment of my partner. As a military spouse, finding a comfortable and convenient place to stay can be challenging, but this suite was a perfect fit. The location was ideal, being close to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI), making it incredibly convenient for visits to my partner. The suite was modern, clean, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were accommodating and understanding of our unique situation, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this guest suite to other military families or anyone visiting active duty naval personnel stationed at NASWI. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place during a challenging time!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Guest Suite

We thoroughly enjoyed your guest suite. It is the best accommodation we have had in VRBO. What did we like about it? First, the newness of everything – the kitchen cupboards, the appliances, the super comfortable bed, the expansive shower, the large tub. Just as important are the smaller things that made for an enjoyable stay – the wireless speaker, the zip lock bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, empty storage containers, the bottles of coffee flavourings ( even though we did not use them – we are not coffee drinkers) . We have never had these in other places. In addition, we appreciated the little blank notebook, the white dish on the counter to put cooking utensils while cooking, the packages of shower steamer (have never seen those before). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, Clean and Comfortable!!

Everything was just so perfect and Joan was a wonderful host! She always responded to our questions within a couple of minutes, and was very friendly and helpful! The room is equipped with everything u could possibly need, is extremely clean, and very cozy! The bed was beyond comfortable, and the blankets were clean and fluffy! The French doors leading outside to the breathtaking view, and the fresh ocean air makes u never want to leave. Everything in the house seems to be made with great quality materials, including organic teas, nice dishes, quality fiber blankets, rugs, shower and tub! The air purifiers in the living room and bedroom worked very well to keep the air fresh and rooms smelling good! The space was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog, and we truly had a wonderful stay here - we will absolutely be back!

Amazing place! Top notch everything! Bathroom, the bed was super comfortable. Very clean and kitchen was perfect. Many stairs but was explained well in listing. Would stay there again for sure
