The sunroom is a perfect place to relax w/ a cup of coffee surrounded by plants & greenery. Taylors Falls offers great outdoor adventures like hiking in Interstate State Park, activities on the St. Croix River, and exploring the Franconia Sculpture Park, with the added bonus of good restaurants and beautiful landscapes!

The Scandinavian Retreat was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway! It was clean, cute, well appointed and close to shopping. It also had a lovely patio that we enjoyed for evening socializing too.The host was very responsive when booking and responding to questions.We would stay here again!

Wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked— everything we could think of and more. Check-in and check-out were super easy (no long chore lists!). We loved the comfy beds and the outdoor seating area. Location was perfect— we walked to town and had a 5 minute drive to canoe. Do be aware of the big damage deposit hold on credit cards
 but it was a seamless stay.

Enjoyed the close proximity to town. The beds were comfy. So many little extras including dog treats for our dog! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Very nice home. Very clean. Great location. Very quiet. One star taken off because the only shower is in the upstairs bathroom. This would not have been a problem except that 4 of us were getting ready for a wedding at the same time. Would recommend this house.

Air conditioning was not that good. Very hot weekend and could not keep up. Location was good. House conditions were good. Host was very responsive to issues that arose. Spiral staircase was intimidating. Overall, it was a good weekend getaway.

Birthday getaway

To celebrate my 60th birthday my 2 adults girls and I were looking for a place close to the Twin Cities, but with fun things to do. This place fit our needs very well. It's cute, clean, and near many area attractions (too many to fit into our short stay).

Our stay was amazing

Sweet Fall Weekend Getaway!

We came here for a bachelorette party weekend and had a great time! Right in the heart of taylor’s falls - we were able to hike, eat good food, and catch a boat cruise in stillwater! Cory was an amazing host and was responsive to all our questions. Home was clean and provided all the things we needed!

Taylors Falls Getaway

My family and I travelled to Taylors Falls for a quick getaway. I fell in love with this listing online. They were very prompt with communication, and even put a baby gate up because I was traveling with small children. It’s a beautiful place and I definitely recommend it!

Girlfriend’s Week

My friend and I booked the Scandinavian Retreat for our girlfriend get-away week, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The house is welcoming, the decor is peaceful and set up in a way that encourages relaxation as well as communication. At the end of the day, my friend and I enjoyed having our own space for privacy at night. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and check-in was very easy. We highly recommend this location, and our hosts!
