Great stay!

We stayed here for just one night as we were in town for a family wedding. The communication leading up to the stay with Allison was great, the check-in process easy, the home was clean and the beds comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We enjoyed our time in this lovely and comfortable home. It was the perfect place for our family gathering. The bedroom and bathroom on the main floor worked well for my older mother. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Host was a great communicator. There is a full grocery store just a few blocks away. Parking was easy. Lots of board games available for us to play. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at your house. After the fact we’d only request another fan for the bedroom and hope we weren’t too noisy for our neighbors, we don’t get together often enough. Never heard a peep from our neighbors. Thank you.

Accurate listing, 5-10 min drive to Trollhaugen Skiing, 2 min walk from grocery store. Very clean and more than enough bathroom products, and a coffee machine!

Small town vacation

The house was very convenient for getting around Osceola, and it was easy to get to multiple outdoor activities in the surrounding area. The house was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The kids loved it!

Sisters birthday celebration

Dr. Comebacker 1880 house was the perfect base for our weekend. It has everything you need for a stay away from home and Allison is very responsive if you need anything. Osceola is a quaint little town withany cute shops within walking distance of the rental house. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Cute town with proximity to two ski areas

Stayed at this cute historic house with kids who appreciated the supply of board games. Easy drive to both Trollhaugen and Wild Mountain for skiing. Walked to Watershed Cafe for dinner and a peek at the falls. Keypad for easy checkin.

Enjoy the place very historical. It could use a lamp in the living room by sofa for reading and shades on windows for privacy in evening. Beds were comfortable. A well supply kitchen with everything you need.

Perfect for us

We needed a three bedroom place for three adults so the house was perfect us. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the kitchen was stocked with every dish/utensil/appliance that you would need to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. We really appreciated the large laundry room as we had just returned from a ten day canoe trip. The neighborhood is quaint and everything is within walking distance. Thanks, Allison

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

When looking to purchase a home in the area, we were sick of looking at cookie-cutter layouts. We wanted a home with character and a story to tell. And boy oh boy, did we ever land the jackpot! We immediately fell in love with everything this charming home offered—from its original hardwood floors, replicated gas chandeliers, and intricate woodwork to the story of Dr. Combacker behind the home’s great walls. We’re happy to share original pictures of the home inside and out and telegram copies to and from Dr. Combacker. Just ask!

We love this home’s location because you can walk to everything you need. We’re also especially proud of how the home holds its grandeur from over 100 years ago yet still offers 21st century accommodations.
