Vi har 2 kajaker för din anvÀndning. Denna stuga ligger bredvid vÄrt hem men Àr helt privat. Beroende pÄ vÄrt schema skulle mycket av gÄrden vara tillgÀnglig för din anvÀndning. Privat dÀck med fantastisk utsikt hela vÀgen eller sitta runt eldstaden. NÀra Camp Ojiketa, Winehaven Winery, 30 minuter frÄn historiska Stillwater, Hazelden och Taylors Falls 40-45 minuter frÄn US Bank Stadium och MSP flygplats.

We had a great time! Location was great for us, close to family, close to things we wanted to do. My boys loved the built in bunk beds, and the swings, and fishing off the dock. The cabin had everything we needed for the few days we stayed! Great listing!

Great little getaway

Really enjoyed our time. The sandy beach area was great for our kids, where we actually we able to relax while watching our kids. Our daughter loved the swings. Very thankful we were able to get away.

Beautiful, Quiet, and Serene

This property is exactly as advertised. It is a perfect getaway for a couple looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city/suburbs behind. The property is well kept and the lake is very peaceful. My wife went out on the lake in one of the kayaks and would have stayed and explored much longer except incoming storms chased her off the lake. The nearby towns have great “ma and pa” shops and there is a lot to do nearby. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great lil cabin

Great family stay. FABULOUS yard with lot of stuff to do. Kayaks were a blast. Nice beach and fire pit along with horseshoe pits. Forget the hotels in this area and stay here.

Fun Weekend at the Lake

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is very nice. The beach and bonfire area were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfy Cozy Cabin

Flew in from California to stay with my mom and nephew. Spacious, clean and decorated so cute! We loved everything from the bunkbeds to the fire pit and sandy beach.

The cabin was nice. Had a little trouble getting in and had to wait for a reply from owner. Luckily we had a place to go close by. The beach area and outdoors were beautiful, couldn’t sit out on the deck due to mosquitoes! It would have been nice to stay on the grounds but we were busy with family.

Beautiful property

Highly recommend this property. From begining to end everything about it was awesome. Owners were great. The yard was amazing. The cabin was appointed with up north features. Very comfortable a real gem!

Wonderful respite!

My husband and I wanted to do a short get away for our 32nd wedding anniversary. Our 2 nights on Green Lake were just what we needed! Fishing, relaxing on the deck with a good book, star gazing while having a fire, it was the perfect respite from busy lives. The cabin was so comfortable, wonderful bed and very cozy. The outdoor space is so well maintained, it's really better than any other place we ever stayed, including high end resorts! They were so accommodating with dock space for our boat and very prompt communication. Would highly recommend!!

Long weekend

We had a lovely long weekend. The kids enjoyed the swing, the big beach, and they thought the bunk beds were fun. The property was fully stocked with anything you’d want, clean, comfortable, and good water pressure. It was a bit rainy for our trip so we spent a couple days at the mall of America. On the nice days it was easy fishing right off the dock. Plus you are in a quiet part of the lake that was easy for paddle boarding/kayaking, but big enough to take the kids tubing if you choose to bring your own boat to tie up at their dock. It was a great space for our family! A few things that would have made it perfect is if there was a dishwasher. Hand washing dishes while on vacation isn’t my favorite, but I understood that when I booked it (so pack some paper plates if you want to make cleanup easy). Also kids bunks are closed off in a large closet in main room, so if your kids are light sleepers you may feel the main living space is off limits after bedtime, but this wasn’t a problem for our family. Price is appropriate for not being a true second bedroom in my opinion.

My home had an electrical fire. This stay was beautiful and gave me the perfect atmosphere to heal from my losses from the fire. Things are a lot better now.

Cozy cabin getaway

Needed a place to unplug, unwind and chill. This was perfect. Clean and nicely furnished. All amenities advertised were as expected. K cup coffee provided was a nice touch.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We built our home in 1981. Four years later we built what we now call the cabin which was for my interior design business. A few years later I moved to a retail location in Forest Lake and the building was empty and not used. We then did a little remodeling and over many years family & friends would stay during some of their transitions. We then started renting to people from Hazelden coming from all areas of the world to study for their masters degree. In 2017 we decided we wanted more control in having this available to our son and his family to stay occasionally. We thought we would try VRBO since we like VRBO properties when we travel. We love to share our beautiful location with others.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We selected this lot to build our home because of a peninsula of land and being surrounded by water. Every direction is a beautiful view. Quiet neighborhood, wonderful for quiet walks and serene nature! Kayaks for your use to view nature and the cabin from the lake. Although this is next to our home, there is plenty of yard behind the cabin and totally private & quiet! We are always remodeling or updating for our guests comfort.
