Place is Beautiful! Very clean! Beds were comfy. My mom normally has a tough time sleeping when traveling and she rested well here.

Construction

The unit was clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the den balcony view incredible.The unit itself had THE WORST bed in the master bedroom. It has been described as firm, I like firm and I was miserable. I honestly wonder if there is a mattress there or just a box spring! The master is also the only one we have stayed in (we have stayed in several) without a beach view. The unit could also use a full length mirror.We were on a short getaway so a relaxing stay was important. Construction began at 8:00 am literally at the door of the unit. I opened the door to drills, ladders and debris from the work and the smell of wet paint. By mid-day they moved away from our door but continued working down the entire path to the elevators.It made getting in and out of the unit treacherous all day long. I thought, perhaps, Saturday morning would be better. They were back to work by 8:00 am this time on the path to the elevators and the elevators themselves. I contacted the management company at the beginning of this and all they said was that they would contact the HOA. Then silence. I would have been nice to know this before choosing this unit.

Clean

Check in process was a little confusing. We had drove a long time and arrived at check in at 4pm but did not receive a code until 5pm. The room was very clean. Probably one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The kitchen had all the amenities you needed. Nice washer and dryer. The view was beautiful! The master bed was very uncomfortable. The bunk beds and pullout were very comfortable.

Awesome Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Shores of Panama. The elevators and parking garage were very busy with wait times of 10-15 on average but not sure this can be helped in such a large resort. The pool area was clean and I liked knowing there was security available to ensure our safety.

Beautiful Room with Amazing Views!

This room was clean and very nice! It also has all brand new appliances! The views are breathtaking and you can see both directions, up and down the shoreline! Stunning views of the sunset! Check in was easy and when our code didn't work, we called and within minutes we had a new access code! Top notch customer service🙂 Would book again in a heartbeat! Thank You!

Excellent Condo...

The condo was totally as described and very clean. Furnishing were new and up to date, ...I was pleasantly pleased. The kitchen was awesome! The bedrooms were immaculate, with tons of closet space! All of this without even mentioning the view of a corner room! They are absolutely the BEST!! Condo management was extremely courteous, prompt and easy to reach, ...EVEN after hours we got a quick response! I would definitely recommend this unit!

Young man on the customer service line was rude and didn’t care. Moved rooms the next day to a room with more space but a way worse view. Got tickets for a boat ride for our room discount offered...Nice rooms, but pretty disappointing stay...

The resort was pretty good. If your planning on visiting during the summer DO NOT STAY HERE!! The elevators and parking garage will consume most of your vacation. The unit was terrible! The bed was as hard as bedrock and the living room furniture is worn out. The balcony furniture will be the most comfortable you will be your entire stay. The carpet is horrid as well. If the unit had some updating it would be fine. Great view! Overall if you plan on visiting shores of Panama during the off season you should be fine, but not during busy season because of elevators.

Disappointed in Parking & Elevators

The condo was excellent. However the parking garage and elevators were awful. There were 6 adults with only one parking pass, knowing 6 adults with luggage and beach items can't fit in one car. We had to park the other vehicles a mile down the road in a public parking lot which cost $48 for 7 days per vehicle. The entire time we were there we noticed numerous empty parking spaces on every floor of the garage. The elevators were a nightmare, skipping floors most of the time, getting stuck and packed almost every time it stopped for us. We had to wait up to 30 minutes sometimes. Although the actual condo was nice, I will not be staying here again.

Beautiful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we stayed in was very nice. It had a great view of the beach and pool, it was clean, and was nicely furnished. We didn't have any issues either with checking in, or during our stay. The parking garage is very tight and that was a little disconcerting since we had to park on the 9th floor of the garage. The additional fees at the shores; for cleaning and amenity fess, can add up ut we did know about all of them upfront, before we booked. It would be nice to be able to purchase amenities on a daily basis, because we didn't use the pool on 3 of the days we were here. We stayed during spring break so the building had a lot of college kids. so, it got kind of loud at times. I would definitely recommend this unit and using Book that Condo.

Happy but dissappointed in some features.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time at Shores of Panama and still do not like their amenity fees for pool use and beach access. No other resort adds this fee on top of monthly rent. Our unit 1502 was clean, carpet needs a cleaning, smoke smell had us leaving the door open most of the time. The kingsize bed needs replacing, noticed a complaint in your other reviews(years back) but figured you fixed that problem, guess not. Hump in the middle and holes on each side made for poor sleeping the 2 months we were there. Love the place and location but will look for a room that we can relax in and sleep well next year. No reliable wifi about 90% of the time, had to go elsewhere to call out. Even the cable was hit and miss.

Happy with Room but not with Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am not pleased at all with Shores Of Panama (SOP). First of all, the staff at SOP is rude and not helpful in the least. The parking garage is terrible, over crowded and has very tight spots. If you dont have a reserved spot and cant find one of the very few unreserved spots they have an overflow down the road which they charge $4 a day to park at. They also TRY to charge $30 a day for pool and beach access. People were shooting of fireworks at 2am and when the office was called they told us to call the cops. Really? The room was fairly nice except the silverware was dirty. Great view of the beach though. The "Book That Condo" staff was nice when i talked to them several times. I will book with them again but definitely not at Shores of Panama.
