Discover Carrie Ger, one of our secluded and romantic yurts, just a few miles outside the Texas Hill Country town of Dripping Springs. With 46 acres of land, a wet-weather creek, and plenty of trees and hills, youâll feel as though youâve stepped into another world.
At Carrie Ger, youâll find an authentic Mongolian Yurt with a beautiful red door and hand-painted interior. Carrie Ger has a king-size bed, indoor seating and desk area, and an outdoor deck with all the amenities for an amazing getaway â private hot tub, fire pit, rooftop deck, covered kitchenette, outdoor shower, and all the peace and serenity you crave.
Carrie Ger offers a ton of shade in the summertime with trees popping through the lower deck. The rooftop deck is wide open, so youâll have both sunrise and sunset viewing. Carrie Ger is close to the wet-weather creek area with great access to the hiking trail, and if you have a smaller vehicle, she has a flat driveway with easy access to the yurt

After more than 20 years of traveling around the globe and living in far-flung regions, Ann-Tyler and Brian Konradi settled in Wimberley, Texas, where they enjoy the small-town atmosphere and peaceful setting of the Texas Hill Country.
In 2019, they created The Yurtopian to provide a unique experience for guests to come relax in a private retreat with luxury vibes. They found beautiful, brightly colored Mongolian yurts during their travels and knew they would be perfect for the experience they wanted to create.
The Yurtopian reputation grew as their guests began sharing their experiences. Soon they began to receive attention from the media as well as influencers. They eventually created a similar experience in the hills near Dripping Springs. With more land and a wet-weather creek, they could add 10 yurts with the same luxury amenities in a peaceful and private setting.
The Yurtopian now has 16 yurts â each one tucked into the woods, carefully curated with vintage furnishings, and a lot of attention to the details of view corridors and maximum privacy. The original yurts are named for their daughters and other yurts are named for friends and family.
