Sheet getaway with sister

The host was super accommodating upon arrival. Once on site she was available when needed which only happened once to provide insight on the best areas for hiking.The actual accommodations were amazing and also super cozy. Would highly recommend!

Great getaway

This place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was during a heat wave in Texas. Tent was cool, dogs loved the freedom and space and the night under the stars was magical. Definitely will come back soon!

Beautiful and relaxing!

Super cute glamping experience. All the benefits of staying in a house mixed with the fun of camping. Owner was very communicative and even turned the porch lights on for us when we were getting back after dark.

30th Birthday Get Away

This was the perfect spot to spend my 30th birthday. The property is incredibly peaceful. I could literally feel all of my stress melt away and truly juat enjoy my birthday.

2 day getaway

The property is situated on the homeowners property but is away from the main house. It overlooks the river and the view is gorgeous. Right now the riverbed is dry to no rain but don’t let that keep you from booking. The tent is well maintained and has all the conveniences you need. I would recommend bringing your binoculars to see the deer in the mornings. They are close but you can view the riverbed and other wooded areas. The outside bathroom was really cool. There are curtains if you want privacy. The hot tub was nice. There is a small mini fridge and a comfy couch. The bed is so comfortable. It had ac and floor dabs so you don’t need to worry about being hit or cold. It’s is relatively convenient to stores and close to restaurants. If you want a quiet getaway this is it

Romantic getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful time in your tent. We loved the jacuzzi, the fire place on the porch, and just the overall relaxing environment. We really disconnected and had a special time. Thank you for being so hospitable, and helping us find places to hike while we were there.

Glamping (pretend camping) for our 39th anniversary

The care and thought that Denise and Scott put into their property to ensure their guests are comfortable and have everything they need is unparalleled. The larger resorts should take note, they could learn a lot from Denise and Scott. We had a very refreshing, comfortable and relaxing vacation, “Safari for the Soul” offers it all. There is so much to do in the local area and Denise is an encyclopedia with detailed information for all of it. We chose to not go anywhere and relax in the tent, sit by the fire pit with our morning coffee, and enjoy the peacefulness of the front deck watching and listening to the wildlife. Had we not been so lazy, Denise had plenty of information on the many nearby restaurants, parks and local activities available. The tent itself is both clean and comfortable with A/C and heat and many extra touches to make the guests feel comfortable. Everything needed to grill outdoor meals including dishes and glassware is provided along with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with coffee. The outdoor bathroom and shower are amazing and private, stocked with quality linens and soaps, and hot water forever. Can’t forget the jacuzzi either. It was the best while coffee was brewing in the morning and with a glass of wine in the evening. It isn’t often to find a private vacation rental where the owners take as much pride and care for the property and their guests’ comfort as we found here. There’s no question, this one sets the standard.

A true Safari for the Soul

A peaceful and memorable glamping experience. Very comfortable accommodation with an incredible “bathroom” *spoiler alert* it’s not a room at all!!! If you enjoy waking up to the sound of birds chirping and watching the deer while you have your morning cuppa or your fave evening sips, this is the place to be. I’d give this property 6 stars (if that was a thing.) Highly recommended!

Adventurous getaway!

The pictures accurately depict the tent and furnishings. We splurged to have an "adventure" and it was that! We loved sitting on the deck, watching the river, and watching the deer come through. The tent is incredibly sturdy as it was a very windy evening and although it can get noisy with the wind gusts, we felt very safe and secure. Our host made sure to greet us with a bottle of wine and there were beautiful roses in the tent. I thought the tent would be a little more secluded and private on the property, but it is not. Also, on hot days, even with the A/C and fans going, the tent does heat up -- not unbearable, but be prepared for that eventuality. Fun to try something different, the bed is very comfortable and all the special touches, mood lighting, light show on the ceiling are very fun!

Perfect spot for a short getaway

This was really a unique property. The site is on the property of the host's home. However, it is set apart just a bit, down the hill and feels very private. We really enjoyed the change of pace. Glamping was a great combination of being outdoors, under the stars, then crawling into a spacious, warm bed.

The whole experience of glamping was wonderfully. Comforts of home combined with a little wilderness. Isolated but still close to civilization. Would highly recommend this get a away. Relaxing and the view was amazing. Night life!! Fireflies and thunderstorms. Best sleep in a long time !!

We had a great mother-daughter trip.

Laid-back couple of days, kayaking & hot-tubbing. Safari for the Soul had everything we needed for a great time. I would recommend this place. I am looking forward to coming back or staying at their Marble Falls location. Glamping is way better then camping.😂

A Covid kind of honeymoon

We could have been super disappointed that our dream wedding and honeymoon would be put on hold due to a pandemic. However, we decided that our marriage is about our life together and wanted to begin that journey! So we got virtually married in our home and spent three nights at this wonderful place. My husband, Scott and I, moved to Spicewood with the intention to share our love and passion for nature, travel, the water, and meeting new people! We have two young adventurous boys and two friendly dogs, Porsche and Spike.
We are foodies, extremely active in water skiing, snow skiing, dancing, and working out. Love love beaches and scuba diving/zip lining.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We are in a "lakey area" where we an do anything we want. Where else can you stay in a luxury treehouse style glamping tent with all the amenities of a hotel and have direct access to the Pedernales river only 10 min. away, hill country views and be one with nature as you take a private warm shower. We wanted to create a memorable glamping experience where you can feel like you are remote but are really only 19 miles from downtown Austin. We are keeping in weird in Spicewood.
