Oavsett om du sitter på din privata lanai eller kopplar av i din tropiska solstol i vardagsrummet, kommer du att njuta av samtidigt utsikt över den 10 035 "vilande vulkanen, Haleakala och havet, med surfare, sjömän och WHALES. Utsikten är spektakulär och vindar är coola. Du kommer att omges av fönster på tre sidor i din rymliga och smakfullt inredda lägenhet.

Hela lägenheten var dekorerad och fullt möblerad i slutet av 2010. Alla möbler är tropiska i stil, med bambu trä och blommiga tyger. Det stora sovrummet har sin egen privata post och har ett bifogat badrum. Det andra sovrummet har 2 speglade garderober och fri utsikt över soluppgången över Haleakala! Båda sovrummen är inredda med top-of-the-line Simmons BeautyRest Pillow Top CAL-KING sängar, bambuskåp, nattduksbord, palmträdlampor, takfläktar och 32 "Samsung LCD-platt-TV. Det finns gott om bekväma, mjuka lakan och handdukar, inklusive badlakan och poolhanddukar.
Det finns en ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek i hallen och tvätt tvål ingår!

Vardagsrummet har en bäddsoffa i Queen Size och en väggsäng i Queen Size med en madrass med kuddeöverdel. Det finns också en tillfällig stol och en vilstol för din TV-tittande eller läskomfort. För den TV-visningen kommer du att njuta av TCL 43-tums LED-skärm Smart TV, BluRay DVD-spelare och gratis kabel. WII-anslutningar är på plats och redo för dig att ansluta din egen WII-konsol, om du så önskar. Matbordet i glas och bambu har lätt plats för sex gäster, liksom din privata Lanai. Oavsett om du sitter vid det antika KOA-träskrivbordet i vardagsrummet, kopplar av på din säng eller på Lanai, kommer du att njuta av gratis trådlöst internet. Det finns också en fasttelefon med gratis obegränsad landsomfattande samtal. De tropiska vindarna är tillräckliga för att hålla dig sval, men, i fallet, det finns en annan takfläkt i vardagsrummet och även en luftkonditionering. Njut av att läsa från urvalet av böcker i hallens bokhylla eller titta på en av DVD-skivorna i väggskåpet. Det finns många pussel och till och med ett "pusseltavla" att bygga ditt pussel på!

Köket är en kocks dröm, med en Cuisinart-mixer / matprocessor, mini-matprocessor, elektrisk burköppnare, elektrisk kaffebryggare, handmixer, brödrost, vin- och cocktailredskap och alla knivar och matberedningsartiklar du kan behöva. Det finns kristall- och plastvin- och dryckeglas samt kristallchampagne och martini-glas. Du hittar service för åtta rätter och bestick, gott om matlagringsbehållare och köksredskap i rostfritt stål av högsta kvalitet. Köket är utrustat med nya apparater i rostfritt stål: kylskåp med renat vattenisapparat, elektrisk spis med öppen spis, mikrovågsugn och supertyst diskmaskin. Det finns en dubbel diskbänk i rostfritt stål med avfallshantering och en separat renad vattenkran. Du kommer även att se havet medan du tvättar diskarna!

Båda badrummen har badkar och duschar i tropisk palmträd. Du behöver bara ta med egen tandborste, tandkräm och schampo - alla sängkläder och hårtork finns i varje badrum.

Du kommer säkert att njuta av dina stranddagar tvärs över gatan vid Charley Young Beach eller på någon av de andra många stränderna i området. Du hittar strandstolar i enheten för din njutning. Om tidigare gäster lämnar mattor, paraplyer eller snorkelutrustning, använd dem gärna. Jag levererar inte dessa artiklar, och jag levererar inte strandleksaker.

Great location and fine property to sit back relax and just take a break from the world. So many things with-in walking distance for all hours of the day and night you almost don't need to leave the area, but please do, the whole island is great.

Another great trip in Kihei

Friendly neighborhood with everything in walking distance. Love a daily trip to Foodland and South Maui Gardens food trucks. Nightly free background music from the gardens if the windows are open and majestic mountain and ocean views. Condo is well appointed with everything you might need and a huge variety of tv channels and books to enjoy. Washer and dryer and well stocked kitchen are a bonus. Thanks for a wonderful week!

The view from this property is wonderful. It is walking distance to water 1 block; many good restaurants 2 blocks. I very nice garden; with many food trucks and entertainment 1 block; and Foodland grocery store 3 blocks.

Great location and perfect for our family of 4

We enjoyed staying at this 6th floor penthouse across the street from a park on the ocean. Three beds for 4 people was perfect. It's nice to have a kitchen to save $ on food and a lanai to eat on or just sit and listen to the ocean, birds and breeze. There are lots of shops within walking distance or a short drive away. There are also some shops on the first floor of the building, including a nail salon which we took advantage of! We were there over Christmas and New Year's and were able to see fireworks from the lanai at midnight on New Year's. So much fun! A couple of us used the pool but that particular day was very windy so we didn't stay long. Any number of beaches north and south of the property are available to get your Vitamin D. Communication with Norma was very simple and she responded very quickly whenever we had a question or concern. We would highly recommend this unit to a group of 4-6 people. Our family of 4 was comfortable. Thank you, Norma, for helping us to have a great vacation on Maui!

Great views and great location

The property has a great view and is close to everything. The dive shop and surf shop were in the same building. You could walk to the beach, restraunts and shops. The place had everything you'd want in the kitchen and rooms. The host was very communicative and everything was perfect.

Maui Getaway

Norma’s place was located right across from Kalama Park and had wonderful views of the ocean. Only drawback to the location, for us ladies in the +60 range, was extremely loud Friday night music from S.Kihei Drive below us. It was only on the weekend so not everyone would be bothered. The place was clean and Norma was very clear and timely with instructions. We volunteered while there and highly recommend the experience of lending a hand with time and money in helping the people of Maui.

Lovely view, comfortable accommodation

The view and the sunset are exceptional. Loved having shops downstairs. Had the best pedicure at Queens Nails. Very well equipped apartment. Everything you’ll need for your stay is here - cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and board. Loved the privacy of the door that led to our unit.

Long Term Stay

We had the opportunity to stay in this property for about three weeks. The location is amazing, within walking distance to food, beach and shopping. It does get a little warm on hot days and if you need Internet to work then you may struggle a little. For the price and location it was exactly what we needed!

Fantastic property

This property is the perfection location for a family to use as their base as they explore Maui. Located at the top of the condo building and at the end it's incredibly private and it's location ensures that the trade winds are blowing almost always circulating the air and keeping things cool. View from the balcony is right over the nearby cove. There are numerous beaches within about a 5-20min walk south of the condo. A couple of State beaches are about 15-20min by car. Multiple stores nearby for groceries and Target/Costco etc are about 20min away by car. I had a couple of questions the second day, Norma jumped right onto a phone call and we got the items sorted out. When our travel home was impacted by the Maui fires, Norma was very accommodating and allowed us to go back to the condo and get some sleep etc. Made a huge difference in the middle of a horrible situation.

Great quiet location. Close access to the beach. Well stocked kitchen. Landlord response timely and informative. Enjoyed eating dinner on lanai. Lanai provided spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets. Surf rental equipment/lessons in same building. Close proximity to eating and shopping establishments. Ceiling fans circulated air coming through windows for sleep in comfortable beds. Washer and dryer great asset. Free parking in back of building was great! Granddaughters enjoyed pool located on 2nd floor of building. Barbecue on pool deck came in handy for grilling steaks. Overall wonderful experience. Enjoyed our visit to Maui 5/13-20/23. DAT

Kihei Penthouse

This was a great property to stay in. The location was convenient to everywhere, especially to beaches. There are many restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Parking is provided. The condo unit was great. It is a top floor end unit and very private. The view is essentially unobstructed to the water. In the right season, I'm sure you would be able to see whales. Everything you could ask for is provided with the kitchen very well equipped. No problem to cook meals in if you want. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Maui. Highly recommend.

Family Vacation

The condo is in a great location, restaurants, food truck, alley shopping all within walking distance. Located from across Kalama Park / beach which is amazing for watching the sunsets. The condo building was really quiet except that darn rooster who started anywhere from 430 am to 530 am daily haha. Albeit a bit of tight quarters for 6 adults, living room area is quite small and especially when the murphy bed is pulled down, there isn’t a lot of comfy seating other than the love seat recliners (very comfy) but that’s only for 2 of you and then the kitchen table chairs, or you could sit outside which isn’t awful. The unit was comfortable, and well equipped, we did buy a toaster as the toaster oven wasn't fast enough for 6 of us eating at the same time. We left it behind. We did need to buy spices as there is only salt and pepper, not a biggie but certainly would bring some next time as it would be cheaper for us Canadians given the exchange rate and the cost if you’re trying to save some extra pennies, we did leave those behind along with a little bit of other food for the next people to arrive, or for the cleaner to take home or donate as she saw fit. It did get warm in the unit in the evenings, 2 of use slept on the murphy bed with the windows and balcony door open, there were only a couple of days where we had a nice breeze coming off the ocean. We avoided the use of the AC as much as possible as we didn't know what the extra charge would be for the utilities at the end of our stay. We did use the ceiling fan and other fan too in the living room to keep it cool for sleeping. The Bedrooms were cooler with 1 facing north and the other facing east, so no direct sunlight in the later part of the day and it was fairly cool in there, there were no complaints from the 2 couples who stayed in those rooms. The unit is wheelchair accessible aside from the bathtub, but its my understanding that, that is on the list of renovations to come but we had no problems at all navigating around the unit. The pool area is definitely not accessible as there are 3 or for stairs to the pool so I can’t comment on the pool as we didn’t use it - the BBQ area is nice with tables and a couple of gas or propane BBQs to use at your leisure. We washed about 90% of the bedding, towels and blankets, washed the floor, put the dishwasher on before we left to help out the host and the cleaner. All in all I would recommend this place but perhaps for 4 adul

Good value for large groups

Located in Island Sands, across from Kamala Park, this unit is well situated and has everything you need for a fun filled vacation. There's even an ICECREAM maker (need I say more). Walk everywhere, multiple beaches to choose from, restaurants and bars a plenty, and a fabulous view of Haleakala. Communication with the host was exceptional and her attention to detail conveys how much she loves her place and Maui. I rate location and neighbourhood a 4 only because this location is a little bit noisier than I'm used to but it is understandable as our visit was over Christmas and New Years and they sell an awful lot of fireworks on such a small island!

The condo was very well equipped & Norma had provided an inventory, so we knew exactly what was there. The beds were very comfortable, & the living room has two wonderful recliners which we seniors loved. Right next door to a great market. We would definitely come here again!

In the middle of everything

It was our fist tie staying on this side of the island. This property location was perfect. Surfing, snorkeling, volleyball, rollerblading, and more are right there. Eating spots are all within walking distance, which we did a lot. Views from this spot are amazing and we had a blast. Thank you so much!

Norma’s place was suitable for our needs. We enjoyed having room to spread out. Although we weren’t here much because we were out exploring, coming home to a house versus a hotel was nice. I wish the place had a/c as it was pretty warm most nights. Other than that. No complaints!

First and foremost, this condo is my second home! I love the ambiance in South Kihei and the Island Surf Building is the 'Golden Ring' of the area! I looked at many properties in the South Kihei area and ALWAYS went back to this building. I knew what I wanted, I waited and I finally was able to purchase the PRIME condo in this wonderful building - the penthouse floor, end unit condo with windows on three sides and unsurpassed views!
The building has a private pool and barbeques with dining area. There is plenty of off street free parking and even a place to hose off or completely wash your car. The building also has 2 elevators, or, if you are energetic, you can climb the stairs!

I love drinking my tea or coffee in the morning out on the lanai and watching the sun rise over Haleakala. I love sitting and watching the WHALES frolicking in the beautiful surf during the daytime. I love sipping a cocktail and watching the sun set over the ocean in the early evening. I love sitting in the darkness and looking up at the starlit sky while listening to the ocean's gentle roar as the waves lap against the shore! I love my condo and my location 24/7 and 365 days a year!
Shopping is easy and convenient, just a short walk away. Shave Ice is right out the front door and to the right about 50 steps! There is a hairdresser, nail salon and massage therapist on the first floor of my building. Charley Young beach is across the street, within walking distance. You can rent diving gear or snorkeling equipment from the shops on the first floor. There are also two surf schools where you can take lessons or just rent boards, one on the first floor and one right across the street. There is also a convenience store/deli and a restaurant on the first floor.
In Kalama Park, directly across the street, you will find tennis courts, a skate park, volleyball nets, barbeques, picnic tables, a ball field and many other things to do. It is a very easy walk to the grocery store (Foodland) or to a number of fine restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping.
