We were pleased to find this house available for Labor Day weekend, as we have stayed there many times before. It's large, beautiful, several sitting areas and across the street from the beach. A wonderful place for family to congregate!

Perfect Thanksgiving

This property had a very equipped kitchen. The layout of bedrooms was perfect for my family. Very easy walking distance to the beach.

Best vacation

Had such a wonderful time I was a very very peaceful neighborhood. The host was wonderful extremely friendly and very helpful. The house was very clean and very well decorated. So much to do there can't wait to go back and be able to do more.

The Grayson Family Thanksgiving Vacation

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home. The kitchen was a great gathering spot
we prepared many meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each with its own bathroom, plenty of personal space. Each bedroom had a deck connected to it, which was great. The deck on the top level with the fire pit was wonderful. I definitely recommend this home. It is comfortable, spacious, plenty amenities, luxurious. The community of Debordieu is very nice too.

Great House

This house is well furnished and has a good layout for a family including a small yard and turtles sunning on the dock! Large master on the main level then a queen across from a twins room and another queen on the second level (each with one bathroom) with a large gathering room.

Had a wonderful time at the Brabham house and at Debordieu! Susan was wonderful to work with and answered any questions we had immediately. Thanks Susan for the use of your beautiful house! And also thanks for allowing our furry family member! She lives the beach as much as we do!

Fantastic Beach House!

Susan's beach house is a fantastic place to stay! She is wonderful to work with and makes the entire process easy and stress free. The house is perfect in every way, all the comforts of home-everything you would need is there. And this year even more so with all of the updates-in the kitchen and bath- beautiful! We- there are six adults- have booked this house multiple times and have a great vacation every year! Love having meals on screened in upper porch just outside of the kitchen.Proximity to the beautiful and uncrowded beach is awesome! Perfect house and beach! Betty J. & family

Southern Hospitality at its Finest

We have stayed at Debordieu many times but this was our first time with this rental, and wow, so glad we found this home. Great location just steps from the beach at the southern end, beautifully appointed, well maintained, and stocked with all the appliances & items you will ever need for a great beach trip. There are 3 decks plus 2 screened-in porches to enjoy the oceanside or creekside views, plus a nice sized laundry machine for washing towels as needed, and plenty of dishes/utensils/pots for family meals. Susan is truly a wonderful hostess & communicated with us before & during our trip to ensure that we were set up for a nice vacation. One of the best family trips we've had in years. We highly recommend this rental & hope to return soon!!!

Perfect home for one or more families!

This home was perfect for our family vacation and we had such a great time while staying there! The top floor (where the best views are) has a huge master suite, main living area, and kitchen. The second level has one large bedroom with a private bath and private screened porch. The other two bedrooms share a bath and make a perfect suite for a family with two children (queen in the front bedroom and twins in the back bedroom). The kitchen is large and functions well for gatherings. The first level has a garage, a laundry room, a fish sink, a place to wash the sand off your feet, and a fenced-in area for dogs. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

Great vacation home!!!

We had just stayed the week of June 17th-24th,2017 and loved every minute! This was our third time at this beach home so needless to say we really enjoy our time here. The house is very spacious and well laid out. We are 'family' of six adults, my husband & myself, daughter and son in law, son and fiancee. Plenty of room for everyone although we typically hangout out together with the screened in porch being our favorite spot. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed. Some nights we cooked in for dinner and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. There is also a washer and dryer we used to keep up with laundry-especially beach towels! And let's not forget the 2 car garage! Also, there is a very handy hose which was super to wash off our dogs after their beach time(not sure how much they liked that part of their day!) Susan had let us know prior to our arrival that there was a new beach access directly across the street from us making it very convenient! Everyone in our family agrees this is the beach house we love to come to every year and hope to continue our 'tradition' in the years to come! Even our two dogs think this is their 'other' home! Great stay

We have been coming to Debordieu for over 20 years and this is now one of our favorites. Very convenient to beach and amenities and also plenty of space to accommodate all of our inside needs - remote work, read, catch up, eat, etc. There are numerous porches for a relaxing spot no matter the time of day. Sue was a fantastic host who made us feel at home - before we even got there.

Gorgeous home and location

We had a lovely time on Debordieu, the house is perfectly located, short walk to the beach with views of the ocean and enjoyed the waterway out back with a blue heron. The house was fully stocked and included beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, beach cart). The best was the communication from our host, easy and quick responses before and after the trip.

Great house near a beautiful secluded beach!

My family if 6 (2 adults and 4 grown children, and 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay at Susan’s house. The house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The proximity to the beach is fantastic (directly across the street from the short access path). The community is very quiet and the residents are very friendly. And the whole place was extremely dog friendly! Communication with Susan was a breeze. We would love to go back!

Great family vacation

The house was great for our family! Plenty of room to spread out. Very well equipped with everything we needed, beach chairs, toys, and more. The elevator was much needed for my husband that uses a cane. Beach access is right across the street. Beautiful home and wonderful week đŸ–ïžđŸ™ŒđŸ‘

Lovely house in a Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the screened in porches are wonderful for lounging in the early morning with coffee or late afternoon with a glass of wine. The location is perfect
an easy walk to the beach but also a quieter area in Debordieu for walking. We brought our 2 dogs & they had the best time! My young adult children always love to do an early evening cruise around in the golf cart before dinner & kept the tradition alive on this trip. (Definitely consider renting one.) This was our second time at this property & we will be back! Susan is an excellent hostess & extremely attentive to the experience of her guests, which is truly the icing on this cake of a vacay.

Fantastic Owner to work With. Beautiful Beach house. I need more time off!!

Susan is the absolute best. It has been a long time since I got to rent directly from an owner, and it was a pleasure. The whole experience took me back to when we would rent beach houses from friends and really just relax and enjoy the time. Using the facilities of the private community costs some money, but it is so uncrowded even on a holiday weekend, to me it makes sense. It is an experience, not in overdone opulence or catering to you like a king or queen, but one where you can have the space to find yourself immersed so deeply that you forget your throwing the ball on the beach for your dog without a leash. Where am I? What am I doing? I'll throw the ball again, stop bumping me with your head so hard, you're spilling my cocktail. This is the house where all the good times went that you can't seem to find anymore.

The boys and men in my family are into inshore and deep sea fishing, thus we spent many a summer at beaches so they could do what they enjoyed while the girls and ladies did what they enjoyed; shopping, cooking, sitting on the beach with a great book. Debordieu provided the best of everything and closer for all of us. It is home away from home.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Deboridieu is so peaceful and serene, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of the other beaches. It offers what I really wanted in beach visits, a lovely place to stay with gorgeous surroundings with little noise from the outside world.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The beds are confortable, the surrondings are pristine; sometimes early in the mornings I am the only person in sight on the beach. It is like a fairy tale place.
