This cabin was very cool!! Smaller than I had imagined but updated and super clean. The property was beautiful and the hot tub and fire pit were perfect. Will be back again!

Our original cabin we booked unexpectedly had to have repairs. I was notified right away and provided an alternative cabin which was Ivy Cottage. It was very clean and beautiful. We had a great weekend get away.

Perfect couples cabin for an unplugged weekend

The accommodations were clean and well maintained, we especially enjoyed watching a fire from the hot tub. There is truly no service, but we downloaded a few movies ahead of time, and got service when we left the property. Our only complaint is that the water was extremely sulfuric. We anticipated well water, and brought bottles to drink, but it was unpleasant to shower in, and we ended up cooking with the bottled water as well. A few throw blankets wouldn’t hurt either.

Cabin was clean and modern. No tv or WiFi but that wasn’t a deal breaker. The smell of the water made it difficult to take showers or wash dishes. The well water needs addressed. Other than that the amenities were as advertised.

Great stay in a cozy cabin

The cabin was just as pictured / described. I was definitely glad we weee the first cabin, it was still plenty private but not a long walk with our stuff. We did use the wagons. A few ants were seen in the kitchen, but not overwhelming. The bed was decent, the hot tub was nice, fire pit was great to have. A little rustic with no wifi and very limited cell service, but was nice to unplug. Good kitchen, could have used more pots / pans but fine for basic dishes. Overall a great stay, would repeat

Great stay

Easy to get to but entrance road needs graded to level car ruts. Hot tub and fire pit were great to have after hiking in park. Cabin was clean and bright inside due to large pane windows in living room. Bed was comfortable and had no problem sleeping. Very quiet area and we enjoyed the woods close to cabin

Very nice cabin

Camp Emerson was a nice cabin. It was very clean and just what we needed for a couples getaway. The only complaints I have was that I didn't know these things before I booked. There is no WIFI or cell service. You also have to walk up a hill on a trail to get to cabin. Thankfully my husband and I are capable of doing this so it wasn't a huge deal but I could see this being problematic for some. The trail had no working lights so it was very dark at night. Other than that, great time.

CONS: The listing was inaccurate for amenities (no coffee or tea pods, no hand soap in bathroom, watered down shampoo, conditioner & body wash) 5 minutes of hot water in the shower. Dishes were dirty

Camp Emerson was a nice stay for a few days because it was a quiet, beautiful, and relaxing property and location. The cabin was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Our main complaints with our stay were the lack of functionality in the kitchen and bathroom. We were unable to use the oven. In the bathroom, the room would flood after each shower and hot water would run out after 5 minutes. The bathroom sink was difficult to use without making a mess of water splashing. We also found ants in both the bathroom and the kitchen. Lastly, the absence of WiFi was not made apparent until check-in information was sent two days before we arrived. While it was nice to unplug (since there’s no service in the area either), the listing made no mention of this. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of functionality and modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay, and thought the property was gorgeous and comfortable, but these little things stacked up and prevented us from having a better experience.
