The room features 2 separate sleeping areas, each with a full bed, as well as storage space for your personal items. Adding to the comfort of this room is an en suite bath with a shower and access to the upper-level deck for some beautiful forested views. A full bath with a bathtub/shower combo is also located on the main level.

A highlight of the home is the outdoor area! Located near the Truckee River, you can hang out on the spacious lower-level deck. Ease sore muscles in the hot tub, and enjoy late-night chats under the stars by the fire pit. The deck even includes an outdoor dining table and a BBQ so you can enjoy your meals in the fresh mountain air.

During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path located just a few miles from the home. Situated next to HWY 89, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee and Tahoe City, both an 11-minute drive from the home. Enjoy city life in Tahoe City, where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and the river, this home is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.

While the home is located a few miles away from the nearest public transportation stop, you can take advantage of being minutes from Tahoe City, where you will find park-n-ride options with FREE routes connecting you to locations such as Northstar California Resort and Kings Beach. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas, with just an 11-minute drive to Tahoe City or Truckee. It's a 6-minute drive from the Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.

Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
