Overall nice. Small problems

Overall, it was a nice stay in a good location, despite the immediate pool being closed, which we were not given any discount for and were not told until we had paid in full. The location and view were great and we enjoyed the stay, the beach, alternate pool location and access and where it was located. There were some problems that we will have to consider before possibly coming back. 1. On the first day we were caught in an elevator and had to call security; 2. On one day our security code did not work to the gate to the alternate pool; 3. (And the most frustrating one) our main TV’s picture went out 2 days before we were to leave. I reported it in the afternoon and I told management that it was probably unfixable. They told me they could not send anyone out that evening. They sent no one out the next day when they said they would, until I complained again after 5 pm. Then they send a person out and they found out what I already knew: It could not be fixed. They said they had to write up a new work order, but no one showed up the next day - the day we left. I consider that unreasonable for the amount of money we paid for the place. We were offered no apology and no type of partial refund.

This is the perfect getaway. Can’t beat the view from the balcony and bedroom. Great resort and nice area that is less crowded than other parts of Destin.

There are codes not just to your door, but the gate to before you get to the lot but also the beach and gate. The condo is very equipped with kitchenware, a mop and broom as well and beach chairs and umbrella. The Beach House restaurant next door is nice and convenient and you can hear the love music from your balcony. Typically 5-7pm. We met alot of great people. Any staff we ran into they were great. The one guy that works as you pull into the resort for the Hilton side was grumpy pants. The guy in the booth was great! The one elevator was a little finicky for the 2nd floor where you can park but other than that no complaints. We would love to come back!

Beautiful views from apartment

Property was lovely. What was frustrating was the beach. Too many chairs put up a lot empty! If you brought your own beach equipment (to the back of the bus) you were treated 2nd class. We could not see the ocean!!!! Been coming to the beach for years. Never have I seen such disregard to others. Several were asked to move 😡😡We paid for a beach also! The reason we are here!!

Nice place to visit but……

The accommodations were nice and well appointed but the AC quit twice and was fixed twice during our stay! The beach front was small and way over crowded and really no room to put up your own beach stuff! The view was great for the firework display but at that time it was cooler outside than in! The location is close to all the things you want to do but again it was crowed! I will in the future look for a more secluded spot to enjoy the beach!

September 2022 Stay

Overall it was good. The master bedroom stayed warm even with all the fans and window curtains. Beach location was next to the public area so it was always very crowded. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The only think was we found a few live roaches. Maybe needs a pesticide treatment.

Nice stay with a few minor inconveniences

We enjoyed our stay for our honeymoon. The beach was beautiful! The condo was comfortable with a great view. The pool was so nice. There were a few inconveniences such as having to put in a 4 digit number every time we had to go through a doorway including into the front gate, into the building, onto the elevator, and out to the beach. The condo was also under construction which made it difficult getting from parking to the elevator with our luggage when it was raining. And the room often had what rental company called southern water bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. They graciously credited my account and came quickly to spray the room but we still saw bugs occasionally.

Prelude to family vacation

My wife and I have been coming to Sandestin for thirty years with our children. Our family has grown from 5-17 and we all meet here for a week every summer. This year my wife and I decided to kick it off with a four day escape before the crew got there for the week. This condo was perfect! Location was fantastic. The view was breath taking at sunrise. It was super clean, well kept, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted! We will be booking it again for our pre vacay- vacay!!

Perfect beach view getaway!

This property is exactly as it looks! The bathroom is a little small, but it worked out fine for just my husband & me. The condo was very clean & the beach view from the balcony & master bedroom is amazing! We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It’s very close everything! May 2021 Stay

My wife Ann and I had a wonderful 13th anniversary. It was our 3rd time staying here at 4288. All the upgrades through the years have been great. This year we noticed the new living room furniture, which is very nice. Thanks for providing this pleasant place for us to spend our time on The Emerald Coast.
