Our visit to the Rivescape was fantastic. We had a great time and everything was perfect. The house was perfect, clean and exactly like they said. Thanks for making our trip the best!

Excellent host and location

Came for a weekend on the river and the place was in a great location!!! Host was friendly and very responsive. No direct access to the river but otherwise perfect!

Thank you for your feedback. Our property is located directly on the Guadalupe River, with a natural wooded riverbank that is largely maintained by the HOA. While the mature trees provide shade, privacy, and the natural beauty many guests enjoy, they do partially frame some river views rather than offering a completely unobstructed panorama. We strive to represent the property accurately in our photos and descriptions.

Perfect quick getaway

Had a small window of time to enjoy a few days with our college-aged boys - what a perfect family escape. This home was just what we needed, from comfy beds and fully stocked kitchen to gorgeous sunsets and a short walk to enjoy Gruene all dressed up for the holidays. Thank you for sharing! We hope to be back.

Great location, immaculate home

We spent four nights here to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and had a blast! The house is clean, in a great location and the beds are all very comfortable. We had six adults (three couples) so each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The balconies are great, and in the cooler months will be fabulous places to hang out. We were within walking distance to Gruene Hall and all the cute shops around it. I highly recommend this house for a weekend away enjoying all that Gruene and the Hill Country has to offer!

Cute place! Great view! Close to town.

My teen daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Riverscape B! The house was super cute and very nice. Great views of the River and area! Walkable to the fun. Comfy beds, cozy couches. Had all we needed and more! Thanks for the hospitality! We walked down to the River - getting back up was a bit tricky ha - it would be awesome to have direct access to the bank and the water in the future! I know it's brand new!

Very well located property, short easy 5min walk into centre of Gruene. We saw deer several times as we walked into town. Property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Perfect for our needs. We had two families and the floor plan worked well. Bottom bedroom had a semi ensuite. The Master bedroom was upstairs with a third bedroom and bathroom for the kids. Two living areas, so lots of space for everyone. Only wish there were more chairs on the balconies so everyone could sit. Would stay here again. View and sunset was very nice.

Home away from Home

Our stay in New Braunfels was absolutely delightful! The townhome we stayed in was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and incredibly accommodating. It truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry family members along without any hassle. The location was another highlight. It was within walking distance to the charming town center, where we enjoyed exploring local shops, cafes, and the quaint atmosphere that New Braunfels is known for. Everything we needed was just a short stroll away. Overall, this townhome provided everything we could have hoped for during our stay. It was the ideal base for our visit to New Braunfels, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and pet-friendly place to stay!

Property was very beautiful, clean and convenient to town, as listed! It had everything we needed for cooking and hanging out as a group of 4. We ended up driving to town because it was so hot and just far enough (group of 40 women not wanting to hike lol). We also weren’t able to walk to the river from the house because the trail down isn’t maintained. We still had a fabulous time shopping, dancing, and floating the comal via a local tube company!

The pictures were deceiving. You cant see off the back balcony. The trees are so overgrown you can't see the river. The grassy area by the river is not easily accessible. There is a small over grown trail that is pretty difficult to get down and up. If you want a house to sleep in only. This is the place. Do not rent this house if you want to be on the river. There was no enjoyment of being on the river from no visibility and no land leading to water. The house inside was great!

We’re glad to hear you thought the home itself was great. Regarding the river, it is a natural riverfront setting, not a manicured resort, so seasonal vegetation and changing river conditions can affect the view and accessibility throughout the year. Our listing accurately describes the property and clearly states that this is a new home with river access, that the dirt path to the river is steep in places, and that the permanent steps have not yet been installed. The HOA maintains the little beach area where you can enter the river. We believe it’s important for guests to have this information before booking so they can determine whether the property is a good fit for their needs. Many of our guests enjoy the peaceful, natural riverfront environment, but we understand it may not match everyone’s personal expectations. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in finding accommodations that better suit your preferences in the future.
