Though Corey tried to solve issues that impacted our stay, there were serious problems: the freezer would not make ice or dispense water, then water leaked from the unit into the kitchen. He turned off the water. We were told no repairman could come until the following week. Corey brought bags of ice and loaded the ice dispenser but it froze solid there and would not dispense, sending chards onto the floor. Corey also brought light bulbs we requested to replace burned out or missing ones; much appreciated The next day, no water would could from kitchen faucet; when we looked in the cabinet underneath, water was pouring into it. We scrambled with towels and waited. Corey saw the issue, tightened a flange but said it likely wouldn’t hold. We washed dishes in the bathroom. Corey returned later with a faucet set that had a new piece. The next day, the top rack of the dishwasher would not pull out or go in without falling out of the track; we really didn’t want to deal with that or bother Corey, so we just used the lower and hand washed, On Monday, when we retuned late in the afternoon, the entry pad would not operate or light up, a real concern. After ten minutes, we succeeded but wondered if we could come and go as we wanted. For that and other issues, we let Corey know we checked out a day early. The cabin is lovely and well decorated but is more a model home than a functional home for peace and relaxation and comfort. We share our experience so that it can be. We thank Corey.
