Welcome to our exquisite mid-century modern home, a hidden gem in Sherman Oaks. Nestled on a peaceful street, this spacious retreat offers a perfect blend of fun, comfort, peace, and style. With high-end designer furniture, a large pool, hot tub, and an outdoor oasis, our home is ideal for families, groups of friends, or anyone seeking a serene yet centrally located getaway.

The Space:
Our home was designed and built in 1959 by Yehuda Lavie, a student of Lloyd Wright. This historic touch adds a unique charm and architectural significance to the property. The Japanese garden and landscaping were commissioned and built by the renowned Lew Watanabe, creating a serene and picturesque environment for guests to enjoy.

Our home features a thoughtful layout to accommodate guests comfortably. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, complemented by luxury bedding and pillows. Additional bedrooms include a large room with an additional king-size bed, a medium room with a queen-size bed, a small room with a twin bed and trundle plus a baby crib, and an office with a queen-size pull-out sofa provides extra sleeping space as well.

The living areas are designed for relaxation and entertainment. Enjoy cooking in the large, fully equipped kitchen or dine in the expansive dining room with seating for 10. The living room is a design lover's area. It gets amazing sunlight and offers a view of the Japanese zen garden. A bonus room (a garage converted into a family room) features a 65-inch TV, a large sofa, and an air hockey table. The outdoor space is perfect for gatherings, with a large unheated pool, hot tub, outdoor dining area, and a fully equipped BBQ area with two grills (one charcoal and one gas). There is also a mini gym on the property for all our workout lovers.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. The driveway provides plenty of parking. Enjoy the large pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining and kitchen areas. Inside, make use of the mini gym, turntable, ping pong table, air hockey table, and movie room.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in Royal Woods, near the historic Sepulveda Pass in the heart of Sherman Oaks, a vibrant, family-friendly neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. Just minutes from cultural landmarks like The Skirball Cultural Center and the Getty Museum, Sherman Oaks blends suburban charm with urban convenience. Ventura Boulevard offers a lively array of dining, shopping, and entertainment, while the nearby Westfield Fashion Square Mall delights shopping enthusiasts. Nature lovers can explore Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park or hike the serene trails of the Santa Monica Mountains. Centrally located with easy freeway access, the neighborhood is a short drive from Malibu's beaches, the Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios Hollywood, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Renowned for its safety, excellent schools, and welcoming community, Sherman Oaks is an ideal destination for families and travelers seeking a relaxing yet connected stay.

Other Things to Note:
**Our home is designed with comfort and luxury in mind. The bathrooms are stocked with PAYA luxury products and Egyptian cotton towels. For entertainment, we offer a turntable, ping pong table, air hockey table, and a movie room with a 65-inch Roku TV. The mini gym is well-equipped for your workout needs.
**The house features several homemade ceramic works created by the current homeowner. These unique items will be available for purchase.
**For the security of our guests, there is a security camera covering the front of the house to monitor who is coming in and out. Please note that the inside of the house, including the yard, does not have any cameras.
**No parties or large gatherings exceeding 10 people are allowed. We welcome families with small dogs, but there will be an additional pet fee.
**The pool is not heated.
