This high-altitude home is just minutes from Asheville and Black Mountain with its charming galleries, shops, and restaurants. 4-WHEEL DRIVE or AWD with higher clearance is REQUIRED year-round to get to this beauty. Pets are welcome with an additional pet fee! The home even includes a fenced and gated pet run area off the back deck to keep your pets from wandering into the black bear country if you choose.

Please note that the lower level is accessed via a spiral staircase and is open/does not have a door that closes it off to the upper level. WE RECOMMEND FIRST ARRIVAL DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. The road up to the house includes steep gravel for the last .06 miles. Ridgetop is 8 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 miles to pickleball courts in Black Mountain.

Please Note: Greybeard homes are located close to Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles may be seen in our area in the fall and winter months, and it is not uncommon for them to find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather from time to time. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
