Great place, close to Ashville and the hiking trails we planned to attend. We had a group of six and we were all very comfortable. The check in and out process was very easy.

Very Clean and Beautifully Decorated!

We were so pleased with cleanliness and kitchen was so pretty. We had plenty of room and bathroom on main floor was spacious with separate jet tub and shower. We did not find the driveway too steep. We didn't have 4 wheel drive and had no problem.It is secluded and only saw a few cars on the cabin road. Thank you for allowing my dog also!

It was the perfect stay for our family. The whole place was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked so we could cook at home, the bedrooms were comfortable and the outside space was our favorite spot. My best recommendation is to go slightly past the house and then back in up the second entrance for easiest access, as the driveway is a bit steep.

We booked this house for a quiet bachelorette weekend, and it was absolutely perfect for our group! We’re mostly moms, so we were really looking for a place where we could relax, unwind, and enjoy some quality time together.We loved having the open kitchen where we could all cook and hang out, while still having plenty of separate space to sleep and get ready on our own schedules. The bride’s favorite part was curling up with a book on the porch, and we ALL loved the heated bathroom floors — such an amazing little luxury!We were a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working properly during our stay, but honestly, everything else about the house was wonderful. It was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and gave us exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for.

Hot Tub needs maintenance/repairs, washing machine didn’t work, grill was disgusting, broken tiles in master shower. Overall the place was nice but for what I was paying I expected more.

Perfect weekend getaway

This house fit our party of 10 comfortably. Two families with teenage kids, they enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We also spent most of our time while at the house on the porch. The house is about 20 min from town, it’s very quiet and peaceful.

Overall great stay! Would stay again. The biggest thing to take into account is the steepness of the road and driveway getting to the house. This would be the only con in my opinion however this is the mountains and it is expected. I’m calling this out to help future guests plan and determine if they have the right vehicle depending on the season. Thank you Point of View for a wonderful stay!

Christmas in the Mountains

We had an amazing time. Santa visited our 3 year old and 4 month old grandsons. Of course after cookies were baked and reindeer food both put out. Could hear the reindeer bells. Had to get to bed quick. Christmas morning was full of electricity of excitement. Lots of board games. Special time with 4 generations. Wonderful time.

The house is nice and has a great view. Communication with the host was prompt and good. It was also an easy drive to downtown Asheville. The reason I'm giving four stars is that it's a little lacking in creature comforts. We were there to have a girls' weekend and spent most of the time hanging out at the house. The kitchen only has the bare minimum -- it was missing simple things like a pizza cutter and a tea kettle. The couch wasn't very comfortable and there were no throw pillows or blankets to cuddle up with.

Do Not Waste Your Time

Issues with securing doors, one door with no lock. Manager (Emergency Contact) is very disrespectful and inappropriate. Porches are uncleaned, piles of debris. Outdoor seating is stained and molded. Do not waste your time. Very deceiving listing.

Broken Hot Tub

Our biggest complaint was the hot tub was ICE cold when we arrived Saturday evening. I texted the emergency contact number to report it. They responded asking for pictures of the panel - which we sent - and then ghosted us for the rest of the weekend. Calls to the property manager on the Monday of our departure were not returned. The view from the porch was lovely, but the house was certainly not spotless- there were dead bugs around in the floors and a dirt ring in the toilet of the master bath: we were disappointed with our stay.
