Cozy Getaway Retreat

We had a lovely stay at this cozy home. The short walk to the lake was perfect, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the firepit in the evenings. Comfortable and inviting — we’d love to come back.

A well needed rest and relaxation

We were both in need of a long week for some rest and relaxation and fun and we found it here at the Hideaway. I would highly recommend this place. The house was adorable. The pictures are exactly what the house looks like. The host was very accommodating any questions we had or answered immediately. I will definitely go back so anybody looking to go to the Poconos for a little fun or a little R&R or whatever reason and just want something completely different. This is the place to go. Also bring some wood they have the best little fire pit.

Our stay at the cozy cottage on Pony Path was very nice. We went up for a long weekend with our family of 5. The bedrooms worked out nicely for our small children with the tuck-away trundle bed. The sunroom is very nice for eating meals and the kitchen stools also are nice for quick snacks and breakfast. Overall, the property was clean. We were able to use the firepit for S'mores one night. It is the perfect walking distance to Beach 3 and the playground. Also, only a short drive to the Island Pool. We really like the Arrowhead Lake community and what it offers our family and the stay at this cozy cottage was great for our long weekend away.

The rental is as described, truly charming and close to beach 3. The rental management company they used made the trip. We rented the place in the middle of a heat wave and the one window AC unit they had left the inside of the house at 85 degrees blasting on its coolest setting. When we notified the rental management company they responded quickly and added a second AC unit to the place which made a huge difference. Great communication, good quality bedding, appropriate kitchen needs as well. Definitely a good find.

Great Weekend

We had a great time, it was a fun gated community experience, but no issues with the HOA. We saw deer, squirrels, and chipmunks all weekend long. The beaches and pools were fun to take advantage of as was the Lodge and the Welcome center. The house itself was comfortable and cozy for 6 and had really well stocked in the Kitchen.
