This is a nice VRBO property. Spacious and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer in lower level worked well. Nice view off back deck. Only two minor issues: lock box for key was a little hard to find, and the hairdryer was missing. (The owner did replace it promptly.)Overall we would stay here again!

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay. Watching the sunrise on the deck each morning with a cup of coffee, got my days off to the right start. The kitchen is amazing! The location was convenient to everything you need. We also felt safe in the neighborhood. Communication with the owner was very easy and pleasant. I would recommend staying here for sure.

Fun Trip

We were pleased with the house. It was a good area and we felt safe. We ended up coming a few days earlier and he was very accommodating with our change. He went out of his way to make it work for us. We would stay here again.

Amazing backyard

10/10 would recommend. House was cute and backyard was amazing. Really close to Oakland coliseum and Oakland arena.

Charming home & host

The property was so charming. It looks just like the pictures. I loved the deck and the peace and quiet of the mornings. Had friends who stayed a few blocks away at an ABNB property. Mine was 10 times nicer and less expensive. Such a find!

Very pleasant and comfortable!

Everything was great, from the communication with the host and his restaurant recommendations (we actually visited a couple of them and loved them), through the accuracy of features as advertised. We filled the refrigerator and used the stove and the oven, and everything worked fine (appliances seemed new or in new condition). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wish we would have had more time to stay longer. Thank you!!

Clean, comfortable hime

We were quite comfortable in this stand-alone home. Kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures are brand new. The bed was comfortable (we only used the queen.) WiFi was strong and steady. It’s nice to have a driveway for our car, plus plenty of on-street parking. A nice, sunny deck in back provided many hours of reading time. The kitchen is nice but doesn’t have a ton of cooking utensils. Our stay was short so we only had breakfast. More elaborate meal prep would be a challenge. Would stay here again with no worries. It’s quite nice.

Birthday Road Trip

The host is awesome, I felt horrible about us arriving late and not responding to messages on the app. My daughter just turned 21 and wanted to visit her Aunt in Oakland. The house was in a great location, near the freeway, but quiet neighborhood. I took a walk every morning and met a few residents that gave me some great ideas for food and activities for the children. We're planning on coming back in November. The only thing I suggested is for the host to get a better cleaning service because we had to go behind them. The children loved the backyard and it was a great spot to meditate while looking at all the abundance of nature.

Family trip

Locked out the first night did not receive check in instructions . Had to stay in hotel down the street for the first night . Heater set at 65 and could not turn it on so it was cold all night into the morning . Cute house very clean .
