Lovely tidy unit with all the facilities. Pool was fantastic. Very easy process to check in. Would be happy to stay here again. The view and location was unbeatable!

Ideal location

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Hawaii. The location of the condo was perfect. Only blocks away from the first Christian church on the island, shopping, the Royal Kona luai, manta ray dives and snorkeling, beautiful beaches and more. The condo was clean, in good condition, comfortable beds, beautiful views of ocean. Pool was nice. Met lots of friendly, kind people.

Kona bliss

Loved our space. Just a short walk away from everything. That was worth it alone. Moved to resort afterward and kept coming back and having to pay for parking. We will definitely coming back. Ocean pulls you to sleep every night and the sunsets were amazing rom your private Lenai.

My husband and I always enjoy staying at A-27 "Hang Ten". Breathtaking views day and night! Everything you need and want in a vacation "home-away-from-home" is waiting for you. Owner responded immediately with our concern and took care of the issue through the management company. Walking distance to town. Mahalo!

Two Couples for a Couple Weeks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit, on the corner where you have an oceanfront view and can overlook the pool/hot tub area. We had a toilet "issue" but the plumber came faster than we could hope to ever get a plumber on the mainland. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary while my sister and her husband were celebrating their first anniversary (both previously widowed) so we all had much to celebrate and had a great time. We plan to reserve a vacation in this unit again next year !

Breath taking ocean views from lanai, crashing waves to fall asleep to!

Beautiful ocean views from every room in the condo! We would watch the turtles every morning eat breakfast. Huge swell hit while we were here and we watched surfers catch some amazing huge waves! Short walk to cute quaint town with food, entertainment, music, shopping and dessert. Fish market (definitely a must if you like seafood!) 1 mile away, kitchen fully stocked so we were able to enjoy some amazing dinners! Farmer market is within walking distance, the fruit was absolutely amazing! Way better than Safeway! However Safeway, target and Costco are conveniently located within a 10 min drive so you can get anything you need! Location location location! The condo provided our family with the perfect amount of room! The pool and jacuzzi are amazing, well kept! We are saving this one and we will definitely come back again! Highly recommend!

Great view, But...

If it wasn't for the view, the location and the attentiveness of the staff and host, this would be @ 2 stars at best. The view is unmatched and the location to town is incredibly convenient. However, when we arrived the A/C was turned off as well as the ceiling fans and the internet router was unplugged. The first night was uncomfortably warm and we discovered it was partly because 2 of the 3 ceilings fans were only able to go at low speed. We were able to have the fans replaced and all was well in the end. Now that the fans have been replaced I would recommend this unit to others. Slightly dated and worn but for us the view made up for that.

great view but aging condo

We have been coming to Kona for 40 years and this condo has a great view and is close to the ocean. However unit is aging. Climate control is poor and the couch sagging. Plumbing fixtures installed backwards and old. One small A/C unit does not cool the entire unit. The management co is a big co but they did get us in early on our arrival day. That was a pleasant surprise since our previous dealings with them were not really responsive to our needs. Some minor construction going on but not a big issue. Really needs a major overhaul. But come for the view and enjoy the ocean.

It was not only clean & beautiful, it was stocked with lots of extras. Nice cookware, dishes, paper towels, toilet paper, salt & pepper & even syrup for our pancakes. Great view & beautiful place just like the photos show. The only thing I would say was lacking was the couch. It was not very comfortable to sit on & one of the kids slept on it one night when she wanted to sleep where it was a little cooler & said it was terribly uncomfortable. However, this will not deter us from renting this unit again! Everything else was fabulous!

We plan to return in a couple of years. We always leave some activities to do for the next visit. The condo was very nice and is being updated. I just hope you don't get rid of that wonderful sectional sofa....that is one if the reasons that I chose this condo. Maybe it could be re-covered when needed ??? New window coverings have been ordered. The master bath needs some work...a better commode and sink faucets,etc. A screen door on the entry would be nice so it could be locked for better security instead of leaving the door open for ventilation. Overall a great unit.

Very Good

It was a very comfortable and clean condo. Great view. Well located. We enjoyed the beach equipment. The only thing were there were some small ants in the kitchen. Otherwise it was well stocked. Ice maker and Britta were great. We enjoyed our visit. Thank you for your responsiveness. Best, Peggy
