Getting Around:
We are in the heart of the Medical District, super close to the United Center and The Loop! The Illinois Medical District (IMD) is a special-use zoning district two miles west of the loop in Chicago, Illinois.

Before we can confirm any booking, we do need to know:
1. What brings you into town?
2. How many people will be staying at the home?
3. Do you expect any visitors, if so how many?

We hosted thousands of guests across 5 states, with an average rating of 4.6 stars.

We do not have keys or access to our mailbox.

We do have Ring Cameras outside the property. Any blocking of the cameras will lead to an automatic eviction, forfeiture of security deposit, no refund and a fine. Please do not block these cameras.

Great location, it is a short walk to the train, 5 minute walk to great restaurants and a nice neighborhood to walk through. The apartment was as advertised, lots of character, beds, furniture, amenities were adequate, we appreciated the tea kettle. The stairs are a bit steep and there are a limited number of electrical outlets, typical in buildings of that era. Biggest complaint was the lack of response from the host when the shower wasn’t working, it took 3 days to get it fixed.

The 1st day we checked in the host said the water would be turned off the next day. Which was exactly the time we would need to be there and using water. The host wouldn't find somewhere else for us to stay that day, so we tried to take showers the previous night, but the water pressure was horrible, we could barely rinse shampoo out. Then the following night thinking we had water again, we went to take showers and the water wasn't coming on, it took awhile, then it was scalding hot to where we couldn't use it at all, it was making the fire alarms go off because of the hot steam. So we used jugs of water to shower! I communicated this all with the host asking for someone to come fix it or find somewhere else to stay but they wouldn't budge. it was the worst VRBO experience i've had, we feel completely ripped off. This place shouldn't be able to be listed until the bathroom is fixed.
