Kom och koppla av pÄ denna privata familjestuga med direkt vattnet och en brygga. Denna Nova Scotia stugauthyrning Àr bekvÀmt belÀget cirka 45 minuter frÄn Halifax och 55 minuter frÄn Annapolis Valley. Three Sheeps to the Wind Cottage ligger nÀra mÄnga restauranger och pubar i Chester (6 min) och Mahone Bay (10 min) med bil. Seaside Shanty-restaurangen ligger en kort kanotur frÄn stugan och en apotek.

Denna hyra i Nova Scotia har alla nya kök och apparater, vedspis och badtunna. Det finns tre sovrum belÀgna pÄ andra vÄningen med tvÄ sovrum med en queen size-sÀng och det tredje sovrummet har en tvilling över dubbelsÀng vÄningssÀng. Det fÀrdiga rummet i promenadkÀllaren har en Murphy vÀggsÀng med riktig dubbelmadrass. Det finns ett badrum med badkar pÄ andra vÄningen och pulverrum pÄ bottenvÄningen.

Det finns en uteplats pÄ bottenvÄningen med bbq med fantastisk utsikt över vattnet framför och underbara solnedgÄngar. Det finns ett litet dÀck utanför sovrummet för att njuta av ditt morgonkaffe. Three Sheeps to the Wind Àr det sista hemmet pÄ en privat vÀg sÄ det Àr ganska privat men ÀndÄ nÀra till alla bekvÀmligheter i nÀrliggande Chester och Mahone Bay.

Det finns en offentlig golfbana och saltvattenpool i Chester, för att inte nÀmna mÄnga unika butiker. Mahone Bay Àr hemmet för de "tre kyrkorna" och fler restauranger och butiker. Den historiska UNESCO: s vÀrldsarvsstad Lunenburg (hem för Bluenose Schooner) ligger i nÀrheten och den berömda Oak Island ligger mindre Àn 5 minuter med bil och turer erbjuds.

Ski Martock kan hittas ungefÀr (40 km) bort för vintern utförsÄkning och snowboard och de erbjöd Àven preparerade lÀngdskidspÄr.

Lovely get away

This beautiful property in Chester Basin was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a family vacation. We particularly enjoyed the back deck and boat dock which allowed us to explore Mahone Bay in our motor boat. The Sea Shanty restaurant, a 2 minute boat ride away, was a highlight. Minutes from Chester with all the amenities, this is the perfect holiday answer.

Totally eclipse of the sun

We had a wonderful time at three sheep to the wind. It’s a great property, very comfortable and livable. The setting is also phenomenal! Would definitely recommend this property to one and all!

Beautiful spot

My boyfriend and I stayed at Three Sheep in May 2022 and had a great time. The location is very beautiful, the home spacious and we found it easy to get around the area with our rental car. The hot tub and all of the outdoor furniture was perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery. Thanks for having us, Melissa!

Fabulous

The view from Three Sheeps is simply stunning! The cottage provided us with ample room for six adults and the owner was fantastic to deal with. There seem to be many updates that have been or are happening. Only issue that we had was water pressure but I am most certain that is just the area and was not unbearable. The deck out outside surroundings are absolutely stunning! Was such a great stay!!

Quintessential Cottage Charm and Tranquility

The cottage is an amazing place, and the week we spent here passed way too quickly. This is a special kind of place where memories are made that sustain you for a lifetime. The cottage is perfectly decorated in just the right balance of cottage style. It is comfortable and cozy without being overdone so that it is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also comfortable and practical. The owners have thoughtfully supplied everything one might need: kitchen tools and condiments, a great grill on the porch, quality linens, an ample supply of nice towels, including beach towels, comfortable beds with good pillows and soft comforters and everything in between. The views are amazing from every vantage point, and the deck is a great place to watch the sun rise or set. The sheep next door are adorable and add even more peaceful charm. Melissa, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with, and was responsive at booking and throughout our stay. We also appreciated the you tube videos with instructions, particularly the detailed routing from the airport. The hot tub is an added bonus, and is especially nice after an active day outdoors. And if the peaceful, happy feeling you get from snuggling up by the fire in the cottage to watch the water isn't enough, the location is conveniently situated for short trips along the South Shore (all less than an hour) to Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, LaHave, Lunenburg, and Blue Rocks. We travel extensively and always book through VRBO, and this is one of our favorite places ever. Thank you Melissa and Andrew for your gracious hospitality and for sharing this magical place with us. We can't wait to return, but in the meantime, our Three Sheeps memories are forever in our hearts.

lovely retreat from the city

This was a lovely home to use to get away from the city for a few days over the long weekend in February! The ocean views and seclusion were wonderful - and the hottub was well used (several times each day)! Thank you Melissa, I'm sure we'll be looking to stay at Three Sheeps to the Wind again in the future :-)

Stunning Property and Cottage

We stayed four nights at this property. The cottage and the views are stunning. The cottage has an airy, beachy feel to it and it was immaculately clean. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit are amazing and we spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the scenery and peace and quiet. Each night we sat in front of the open fire and waited for the sound of the loons flying home to roost. We will definitely be booking a return visit!!

Three Sheep’s to the Wind is an idyllic spot to enjoy a fire ( inside or out), gaze at the ocean and bask in it all from the hot tub. A truly beautiful setting, convenient to Chester, MBay and Lunenburg, and all the amenities one could wish for. Thankyou Melissa for an awesome week!

Relaxing and Beautiful Setting

For early March we had the best warmer than normal temperatures so spent lots of time exploring the surrounding areas, walking and lunching. When back to the property we relaxed in the hot tub and took in the amazing view. Very comfortable home and very responsive home owners.

A perfect getaway...

We had a lovely time at Melissa’s cottage. The house is exactly as advertised. Cozy and elegant. The wood stove and hot tub were the biggest bonuses for us, but we also enjoyed bundling up for coffee on the dock. A truly relaxing time, and the perfect spot for our winter getaway. This was a great March Break getaway location with my parents and kids- lots of room for everyone!

I rented Three Sheeps to the Wind for three nights as a March Break mini- vacation with my parents and kids, aged 7 and 10. We thoroughly enjoyed the hottub and cosying up by the woodstove afterwards to play games, read, and hang out together. The kitchen was great it enabled us to enjoy cooking our own meals. We enjoyed walking down by the water and exploring. The location is great as it enables quick and easy day trips to surrounding towns. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Even better than the pictures!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The house was very clean and absolutely lovely. Everything we needed was easily at hand and Melissa was very helpful with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this property and would absolutely consider staying there again in the future. The location is perfect. Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, and Chester are all close and have so much to offer...shops, galleries, restaurants, markets, and lovely vistas. There is easy access to hiking and biking trails and all kinds of water sports and boating. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a great property to spend our family vacation.

Andrew and I have lived in Nova Scotia our entire lives we are a young professional family with a love for sailing and the outdoors. We have sailed on the South Shore for over 10 yrs and had been keeping an eye open for the perfect family and sailboat friendly property not too far from our home in the Annapolis Valley. We purchased the property in the summer of 2015 and started welcoming guests in 2016. The rest is history.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is very close to the main highway yet its in a private wooded area directly on the oceanfront. We liked that were are close to everything we need yet we are 'away from it all'

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Three Sheeps to the Wind Cottage Rental got it's name because its located beside a private hobby sheep farm which our children enjoy. This Nova Scotia Cottage Rental is unique because its in a protected basin so we can canoe and swim right in front of the property. There is a restaurant and drugstore that you can canoe to, how cool is that?
