This property was nice and spacious, description was spot on and highly recommended if you want a place to enjoy the surroundings like the quiet laid-back neighborhood, great scenery and the town nearby with great food starts, breweries, and a Farmer market.

Mountain Bike Boys Trip

Excellent base camp for exploring Fruita trails. Super clean well appointed and lots of sleeping options. Garage games room is brilliant.

The retreat fruita

Lovely place. Everything great! Few suggestions. More silverware. Especially for little people. No oven, only counter ovens. Not in listing. Very clean. Would stay again!

Property was clean, well furnished.Ice and water on refrigerator was broken. Water filtering pitcher was awful. Ice cube trays were provided, though we opted to purchase ice to accommodate our needs. Stove top was difficult to operate. There are two counter top ovens, and three coffee pots, no built-in oven.Biggest issue was failure of property management, host, and VRBO to resolve door lock failure in timely manner when we attempted to open door after wedding, the code did not work! The information provided did not state the time parameters for emergency response. (I was unsuccessful in reaching the property mgt by text or phone at 10:41 p.m. I messaged host, then called VRBO number, spoke with multiple agents who were unsuccessful in their attempts to resolve, stating it was late.)Fortunately one window was unlocked so we were able to re-enter.Next day when property management responded, they indicated conceirge closes at 10 p.m., and the system was fine on their end. They offered to be available until 12 p.m. I asked for a physical key and was given a lockbox code. They dispatched a housekeeping supervisor who indicated her code worked fine. I insisted we try the code I received from property mgt; the code still did not work. After housekeeping contacted property mgt it was reprogrammed. She shared there have been issues with the locks.To date, I have not received a response from the "premier host".

We're sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the door lock on the first evening. As previously explained, we responded as soon as we were made aware of the issue; however, our concierge team is not available 24/7, which we advised of. While we're sorry the original code did not work as expected, we're relieved you were still able to access the home that evening, and after the code was reprogrammed the following day, there were no further access issues for the remainder of your stay. To clarify, the lockbox code you were given was for the physical key that you requested. We responded to all messages and inquiries during your stay, so unfortunately we are not sure what response you were waiting for from us. We also appreciate your comments regarding the appliances and amenities, as guest feedback helps us continue to improve the experience we provide.
