Awesome! The home is exactly as shown! Lots of space and clean! The pool and hot tub were a great hit. I was Celebrating my Birthday with my husband, daughter son-in-law and my 4 grandchildren. The pool, mini golf was a plus for them. The Best was our host Eric! He was very attentive and always available if needed. He went above and beyond!!! We look to return again!!!*****

This property was excellent. The checkin and checkout processes were completely smooth with no difficulties at all. We especially appreciated just having the cleaning built-in and not having to do anything extra in that regard. The pool and hot tub were both great. The location is within 20-30 minutes of almost anything in the San Diego area. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to relax and be together

4 adults and 5 kids LOVED staying here. The property is nicely appointed with a beautiful kitchen, spacious rooms, and lovely amenities. The kids loved the outdoor games and pool while the adults loved the large comfy couch and the equally comfy beds. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Very clean and modern home. Beds were comfortable and whole house was very homey! Everything there you would need, check cabinets before you go shopping for groceries. Provided items were coffee pods, there was left over oil and spices I assume from past guests, and they supply dishwasher tablets. If you plan to do laundry, that detergent is not supplied. The back yard is an oasis. Small but very much what we needed for the short time we had for our getaway. Pool heat was reasonably priced and was needed as we had some chillier weather. The hot tub was amazing!! Back yard games and putting green was also very handy for kids. Eric was very hospitable and quick to respond if anything was needed. We would definitely go back here again if ever returning to San Diego.
Putting green and grill. Propane tank supplied but you may need to fill up the tank if empty.

A Perfect Stay at the Best VRBO with the Greatest Host – Eric! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just any Vrbo—it was the best. The house was stunning, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail had been considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home.Eric, our host, was phenomenal. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. His hospitality went above and beyond—he’s the kind of host who sets the gold standard. The house had absolutely everything we needed. From kitchen essentials to cozy blankets, nothing was missing. What really stood out was how everything was labeled—so simple, yet so brilliant. It made settling in effortless and stress-free.And the little extras? They made all the difference. Whether it was the house slippers, the curated local guide, the putting green to pool toys, it was clear Eric put heart into every corner of the home. These thoughtful touches elevated the experience far beyond any other stay we’ve had.If you’re lucky enough to book this place, do it. You’ll be staying in a beautiful home hosted by someone who truly cares. Thank you, Eric, for making our trip unforgettable! Can’t wait to come back!

The house was super clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything and the whole house was stocked with everything you need. Love the corn hole game. Multiple beds, mattresses were all comfortable. The host Eric was excellent and beyond accommodating. The patio furniture set up was awesome - the fire pit under the gazebo was perfect. The pool was the highlight, we had it heated and it was comfortable for everyone to swim in and clean. We would love to stay here again!

Rachel, thank you so much for such a thoughtful review. It truly meant a lot to me. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you a little bit and having the opportunity to host you and your family at Coastal Chill. I was genuinely happy to do whatever I could to make your time in San Diego a little more comfortable and special. Knowing how much you enjoyed the house, especially the heated pool and outdoor spaces, really makes all the extra effort worthwhile. More than anything, I’m grateful that Coastal Chill could be a place for you all to relax, spend time together, and make some good memories. You were wonderful guests, and I sincerely hope this isn’t the last time we get to host you. You and your family will always be welcome back at Coastal Chill. Wishing you nothing but the very best, Rachel. ❤️🌴

Eric was amazing - honestly not only was the property immaculate, comfortable and welcoming - but he was super efficient at communicating. He gave me tips, and even told me where the best food was! Totally worth it - my family had a blast in the pool and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. Comfortable beds, plenty of cooking utensils - ribeyes on the grill the final night… Five stars!

We booked this home for a week, five adults and two smaller kids. This property had plenty to keep the kids entertained. I am always skeptical basing an impression of a property from photos. I was very pleasantly surprised that the home exceeded my expectations in person. From the outside, the home seems like it would be a small home, but when you enter, it is more than enough space for all of us and then some. The backyard was the best part! Beautiful outdoor living space. The pool and covered seating area was positioned just right for us adults to watch some World Cup Soccer on the outdoor TV while the kids to played in the pool and we could watch both. Life jackets for smaller children were also provided so that saved us money checking a bag just for life jackets. The host, Eric, wow. He is the most responsive host we have ever had. I never had to wait long for an answer to my questions. The property is close to just about anything you want to do in San Diego. I cannot think of any complaints, all of our needs are met. The home was clean, our feet and socks were dirty from the hardwood floor but after several hardwood floor rentals I have been in it is nothing new and nothing a good wash can't handle. There are house slippers though we didn't even notice until the last day, our fault Overall, highly recommend this property.

My wife and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the house. Everything that we needed for our stay was there and easily found. I had a great time in the heated pool and the jacuzzi. The host was readily available if we had any questions and was extremely pleasant. We would definitely book again next time we are in the San Diego area.
