Disappointed in quality of the condo
As a fellow VRBO owner, Iâm hesitant to leave negative reviews because I understand the effort it takes to maintain a vacation rental. That said, this condo hasnât been renovated or thoughtfully maintained in decades. It lacked any welcoming or cared-for touches, and overall felt neglected.The kitchen was poorly outfitted â tiny pots and pans made it difficult to cook for more than two people, and there werenât enough dishes to get through more than one meal without washing everything. Only a small amount of dishwasher detergent was provided, and no laundry detergent, which is typically expected in family rentals.There were also functional issues: the ceiling fans in the guest bedroom were so noisy they couldnât be used at night, and the primary bedroom TV was missing a remote (we had to take the one from the guest room, leaving it without TV access). Most concerning, there was a protruding nail in the balcony doorway that cut one of our guestsâ feet, and there was no first aid kit provided â a basic safety requirement for VRBO hosts.On a positive note, the bath towels were very nice, which is the only reason this isnât a one-star review. With more care and attention, this could be a much better rental.
