Lovely Cottage

Lovely cottage completely remodeled but vintage appeal maintained. Great deck and location. Walkable to downtown. Beds were a bit hard but otherwise everything was wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience!

The house is exactly as pictured and was very convenient for three people. The outdoor area was wonderfully shaded and cool, with beautiful flowers. We spent quite a lot of time there. The neighborhood was very quiet, shady, and the neighbors were friendly. We really appreciated the off-street parking that accommodated three cars. The house is well equipped and clean. The owner, Bob, was very nice and very responsive. He worked hard on a tricky slider and clearly keeps the property very well maintained. The location is excellent and is in easy walking distance to the lake and the downtown area. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and easy to follow. My only suggestion would be replacing the table in the smaller bedroom with a small chest of drawers. Definitely not a deal breaker, just a friendly suggestion. Thanks again, Bob.

Charming, comfortable

This was in such a nice area across from the library and a park. My sister and I enjoyed the comfortable living space as we had two bathrooms and two bedrooms. It also had plenty of space in the dining room and living room.

Great location by the park and can walk to town easily

Bob was great with communication and made the check in process easy. Provided bikes that worked fine for short rides to the park and back that our daughter loved! Will definitely consider staying here again when returning to CdA area. Beds are adequate, but if you’re used to the newer softer mattresses it may be uncomfortable? Kitchen is supplied very good and everything worked great when we wanted to cook or bake 😊😄

Five star cottage!

Bobs cottage was perfect for our stay in downtown CDA! Loved the older home with updated features. Walking distance to dinner, breakfast, coffee, the park and the lake! Great instructions and communication, very clear. Was willing to let us checkin early at no cost! Kitchen stocked well, plenty of towels. Thanks so much, we will book again!

Best Location

For a two night stay and our first time in CDA, this cottage was perfect! We could easily walk to town, park, lake, everything we wanted to see and do. It was furnished with everything we could possibly need for cooking and relaxing. Enjoyed the bikes - 2 adult, one child and the grill and back deck. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is within walking distance to McEuen park which is great if you have kids. The house is extremely cleaned and well-stocked.

Adorable and clean with amazing location!

This place is so charming! Very clean and well kept, extremely well stocked kitchen, available toiletries if needed, cute decor, awesome clawfoot tub, wonderful deck in the garden to enjoy morning coffee, and available bikes is a huge bonus. We had never been to Coeur d'Alene before and had no idea how incredible the location is when we booked. Wow! Unfortunately when we were there the smoke was so so thick we did not get to make use of much of the convenience of the location because the air quality was too bad for any real hiking, biking, or exertion of any kind outside. Certainly no fault of the home or host, just bad timing luck :) The only reason I did not give it five stars across the board was because the master bed frame was wobbly and noisy and my honey and I did not sleep great because we kept waking each other up every time one of us turned over. The mattress itself seemed fine, it was just the frame. Other than that this place is perfection. Lots of amenities we did not even take advantage of like the barbecue, available beach towels if needed, washer and dryer, etc. Oh and my two kiddos did not want to share the double bed in the guest bedroom so we brought a twin air mattress and it just fit at the foot of the bed, which was great for keeping them from tormenting each other :)

Cute, clean, close to everything

The Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Great location! Across the street from the park and Tubb’s Hill. Bikes were available. The property owner was quick to answer all questions. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

Location and price are unbeatable

We had a great time for the Fourth of July. You can walk almost everywhere and it has a quiet neighborhood feel even though it’s a half mile from the center of CDA- playgrounds, restaurants and shops, the beach, etc. The cottage is old but is restored well with a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms- even things like ziploc bags, and nice shampoo and conditioner and plenty of napkins and toilet paper makes it feel more homey. Bikes in garage and washer/dryer easy to use. Central Air conditioning worked well which was a relief after other properties only had fans or small units. One thing that could be a bonus would be some fold up beach chairs for guests to use.

Wonderful home

My husband and I absolutely loved this home! The location was perfect. You can walk to town, bike on the centennial trail, so many great restaurants nearby and the house was extremely comfortable. The home owner has taken pride in the property. He was a delight to communicate with about the home. We would absolutely stay here again!

Adorable

This house was completely adorable and had everything we needed! It was in walking distance to everything downtown and had pretty quick access to I-90 so we could explore surrounding areas. Very quiet location. We look forward to staying here again.

The house is very clean and is located in downtown. I will book this home again. It's so close to the city park and downtown. I love the back patio to relax on. Bob the owner was a delight to work with. He let us have an early check in which was great!

Clean, close to town and accomodating

The first impression from the outside is a cute well maintained home located one block from the park and 5 minute walk to the water. First off Bob was awesome. Communication is rapid fast. We requested an early check in because originally we wanted to stay the night before but it wasn't available. He of course couldn't guarantee that but said he would let us know if something changed. About 12:30pm that day he emailed us and said go ahead its ready. Check in was a breeze and the place was clean, clean, clean. Of course that is a high standard in times like these. It has everything you need in the kitchen and everything works. Bikes in the garage in good condition. It was perfect size for a family of 4 with 2 small kids. Being so close to town is a huge bonus. Bike rides to dinner in the summer there are a blast. Bob #2 (his neighbor) showed up to take care of the yard. He was very kind said if we need anything let him know and I guess works for beer. Lol Lastly and this is a small detail but sometimes isn't the case. All the towels are the same. For some reason I have this thing when staying in airbnb or vrbo that seeing a bunch of mixed matched towels that seem like they came from goodwill just makes me cringe. To some that is peddy but I like having some of the amenities of staying in a hotel. All and all this place exceeded our expectations and we are already looking at coming back. Thank Bob for taking care of your property and doing everything from start to finish like a professional. Its hard to find sometimes.

Perfect little gem in great location

This house fulfilled every expectation we had for a comfortable, clean and safe place to stay while in Couer D’Alene visiting family. It’s located within a few steps from all the downtown stores and restaurants. There is a beautiful huge bike, pet and kid friendly park within steps of the house. The house owners have thought of every detail needed when staying in a vacation home. The owner has been very easy to work with and completely accessible. I have to say I would without hesitation stay here again and plan to return.
