Kitchen had a lot of items, spices, clean and nice condition pans, coffee, tea, etc.. Stocked nicely with dishwashing and laundry supplies. Bathroom had shower necessities. Really nice until and great view!

Fred is an excellent host. Easy to communicate with and responds quickly to messages. Would highly recommend KingsMill Resort if you’re looking for a relaxing place with a beautiful view of the James River.

There was much packed into this small kitchen. We had light breakfasts and snacking/reheating leftovers. Lots of comfortable,spacious rooms to relax, property had the best spot in the area with views of the James River and nightly deer sightings. Very safe and secure in this lovely gated community. It made our trip just wonderful! We had great weather, too. Fred, you were so helpful. The TV directions and cable stuff was not working. I hope it got cleared up. We tried as we were able. Beautiful time @Kingsmill in Williamsburg. Be well, Fred.

We reallly enjoyed out stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything needed was provided, easy check in and out, quiet, secure and lovely surroundings. Our host was available and engaged without being intrusive. We couldn't have been more pleased with the location, it was perfectly central to all of the historic places we wished to visit.

The condo was very clean and well stocked for our stay. Excellent communication with the host. We have stayed in this condo for several years for an annual golf trip to Kingsmill and certainly will use it in the future. Highly recommended.

The condo was perfect for our family of three adults. Its location was scenic and within 15-20 minutes of the sites we wanted to see. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The entire trip from booking to departing went smoothly with input and advice from our host. A great vacation!

This was a great condo. The location is terrific. Every evening we watched deer including several fawns, rabbits, and a groundhog munching on the grass outside our sliding doors. The kitchen was extremely well equipped although there are so many good restaurants in Williamsburg that we ate out every night. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom which we really appreciated. We had wondered if we would hear noise from the floors above (the condo is on the ground floor) but we didn't hear a thing; it was wonderfully quiet.

Great condo on the James River

The condo was exactly as advertised. It was well stocked and is in the beautiful Kingsmill Gated Community right next to Busch Gardens. Many attractions are located nearby. We had a great stay.

Cozy n relaxing

Beautiful views. We had deer visit us everyday in the backyard. A couple minute walk can bring you to the beach, or to The Mill for coffee and ice cream. Nice high pressure in the showers. Comfortable beds. Truly a home away from home feel. We stayed 7 nights, and would stay again. Close to all the area highlights. Great host, quick to respond. Thank you, Fred!

Great holiday weekend stay!

Our family of five had a great stay in the condo! Plenty of space for all of us, comfortable beds, and amazing location close to the river. We enjoyed morning walks to the Mill for coffees, and loved being so close to Busch Gardens. Excellent communication with the owner and easy check-in and out. It was the perfect homebase for our visit to Williamsburg! We look forward to our next visit!

Overlooking the river 


We really enjoyed our stay and could not have asked for a more gracious host. A short walk to the river and a 10 minute drive to historic Williamsburg. When we come back, we might make it to Busch Gardens, which is next-door.. a lot of fun things to do nearby. Many thanks, Fred..

A Wonderful Holiday

I have recently decided to terminate my rental agreement with Kingsmill in order to rent to guests who desire longer stays. At the same time, I have greatly reduced the rental rates in that I am not operating a daily hotel service.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

When I first drove into the community of Kingsmill on the James River I immediately fell in love with the best that Virginia has to offer. I was already drawn to the history of our country in Williamsburg and wanted my grandchildren to experience the beginnings of our land. The beautiful golf courses, walking and biking trails, tennis, marina, ponds for canoes were over the top.
Having Busch Gardens, WaterCountryUSA, museums minutes away completed the picture for a great stay on the James River.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I have discovered that Kingsmill can be enjoyed year round. A gated community offers the feeling of security on early morning walks. Eagles fly over on their way to the river to fish. Leaves turn in the fall. My wife enjoys having the choice of high end shopping in the historic area or the outlet malls located minutes away. Our stays are not long enough and we continue to return.
The sounds of the train whistle and the fireworks of Busch Gardens excite our grandkids. Our guests' reviews tells the the story of living on the historic James River. Talk about unique.
