Consider this house your home away from home while you visit Lake Keowee. This gorgeous property (built in 2021 with renovations in Q1 2025) features 6 bedrooms (one is enclosed bonus room), including 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 10 twin beds. Home boasts a huge walkout basement (with all kinds of fun things to do) perfect for teens, full laundry room, a vast main floor covered porch overlooking the lake, and a cozy fireplace. Property includes kayaks, canoes, and covered outdoor living space. Enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock in our clear, deep water. Dock accommodates one watercraft if you bring one, and we even have a place for you to park your trailer. We work often from this house, and have 600MB internet throughout. The peaceful atmosphere of this house makes it the perfect retreat for families or groups looking to relax and enjoy their time together. We also have no HOA hoops you have to jump through or tiptoe around. Lastly, we have a well stocked kitchen and plenty of games/puzzles for all ages to enjoy.

We have been short term hosts on Lake Keowee since 2012, five star across the board in both of our previous listings.

Beautiful property with amazing views. The game room was a huge hit, as was the oversized covered deck which overlooked the lake and was equipped with a TV (perfect place to watch football).

Great property & great location, kitchen is well stocked which is huge for us because we cooked all of our meals. The twin room only had 2 mattresses as opposed to the 3 in the photo, in the bunk room the upper bunks weren’t made (to be fair I didn’t mention this to the host because it wasn’t an enormous deal just a slight hiccup). Over all a good experience.

If you are looking for a place to stay in upstate SC, look no further. This is a brand new, immaculate home that is inviting and spacious. We stayed with 2 families, lots of kids, and it had more than enough room for everyone. The bunk room and basement bonus area was a favorite. The house has full accommodations, conveniently located with amazing lake views. The dock is fun for fishing or relaxing. The host (Mary) is so kind and excellent with communications. If you get the privilege to stay here, I can honestly say you will not be disappointed one bit. Everything was perfect.

great family reumion

The property is nice and lake house is spacious. It accommodated 12 overall well. Everyone enjoyed the game room and outdoor equipment such as paddle board, kayaks. However, there were few minor things that were negative. The dock and stair areas had few nails that were seen that parents had to be careful the children did not touch .The queen size bed felt tight in space it was placed in of the bedroom in the basement that had bunk beds and queen size bed. We appreciated the communication of owner . Overall, our family enjoyed the visit at this lake house. Thank you!

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful home. It would have received all 5 stars except for the long no wake zone to the main body of the lake. The home is well equipped with tons of stuff to do! The short easy walk to the dock is hard to find.

Nice Lake House

House was very roomy and comfortable. Kids room was the best ever with the double bunks and single double bed. All beds were comfortable. Kitchen was loaded with pots and pans and plenty of dishes. We loved the long dining table. All 12 of us fit perfectly. We rented a pontoon boat and used several of the boat toys in the garage. All in all it was a great house for our family vacation. We had 6 adults and Six kiddos ranging in age from 15-6 months. Also the high chair and kids plates etc came in handy.

Family Vacation Summer 2024

This is a great home with everything we needed for an excellent week at Lake Keowee. My wife and I spent the week with our 3 adult children, their spouses and 5 grandchildren. Plenty of room for us to gather for play and fellowship with enough rooms and beds to give everyone their own space. The owners have staged games and playthings for children which was great fun. The outdoor deck areas are perfect for relaxing, grilling, eating, sunning and playing. Fishing from the dock was a real treat for the whole family. We caught and released well over 100 bream, several bass, several catfish (one BIG one) and even one crappie. We brought our boat and jet ski to enjoy the lake, and we did. The weather was perfect. There are no real negatives to speak of. It would have been nice to have access to the covered boat area of the dock for our boat, but I understand. If you need additional parking for boat trailers or extra cars Big Oak RV and Boat storage is less than 1 mile away. They are great people too and can help in this area. We rented a space there because we would have 4 cars and honestly there is no reasonable way to put a medium to large boat trailer down the driveway. We all had a great, fun week. We would recommend this property to you.

Lake escape weekend

The house is located off of a nice quiet part of the lake. It is spacious and great for hanging out with family and friends. Close enough to commute to Clemson if desired. Lower level that is perfect for playing games like ping pong. We had a relaxing weekend here!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Plenty of room lots to do. The kayaks and ping pong were great ! The lake is clean and we loved swimming in it with our dogs !

Family on the lake

Loved the house, dock and all the floats , kayaks, fishing poles. Grandchildren loved being on the lake as did adults. We had a pontoon boat and enjoyed coming and going. The kitchen was great, also decks and porches. Room for children was fabulous . We swam, floated, went kayaking, I walked, used grill & kitchen. Children enjoyed game room. The house nicely done, very attractive, good location.

Peaceful Picturesque Views

A wonderful home with perfect layout for family togetherness but also spacious bedrooms for quiet time. The house is beautifully decorated and has tons of supplies and lake toys for guest use. The gentle slope towards the dock made it easy for older members of our family to enjoy the water as well. Great fishing for those interested. My youngest caught a fish about every 4 minutes. I’m afraid this dock has set him up for way too high of expectations for future fishing endeavors. Wonderful house and host! You can’t go wrong with renting this home.

Perfect Holiday Getaway!

We had an amazing time! This home was perfect in everyway. It was clean, well layout, plenty of linens and kitchen tools. The ping pong table was a great activity for our entire family! The lake was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful! The host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Christmas Getaway

We had a great Christmas celebration on Lake Keowee! The house was large enough for our group of 7. Everything is modern, clean, and well laid out. The host was responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Great for Clemson games

We stayed here 2 weekends in a row for Clemson games. It is a great house to stay in with kids & teens. The view out of the kitchen/sun room is a beautiful backdrop for your morning coffee.

Perfect Lake/Clemson Weekend!

We loved our stay at this property! Mary, the owner, was very communicative and had great follow through. The house is spacious and perfectly suited for several couples or families. Kids will love the downstairs hang out/game area! It was a quick trip to Clemson for a football weekend and it would be a great place for a full lake weekend as well. We will return! Thank you!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay. The home is fully renovated and was beautiful. It is situated right on the lake and we really loved being there. The owner was great at responding to us with any questions and was so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate house. Paradise really. Our Bernedoodle was in heaven

We had a blast. The house is GORGEOUS- so modern and looks brand new on the inside. Gorgeous setting. Very clean. Paddle boards and kayaks to use which were a blast and for our Bernedoodle who had so much fun riding in the Kayak and board with kids. It was perfect. Our phone number didn’t work on the keypad when we got there but thankfully, a window was open and one of our boys climbed in and our vacation was perfect after that! Thank you and we will definitely be back. It was a great way to celebrate my sons 16th birthday

Great Lakehouse!

We enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. The house was perfect for our needs. My husband and I took our elderly parents and teenaged boys for a last minute getaway. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out, and our parents were able to navigate the house with no problems. We had a great time.

Fun week at Lake Keowee

Mary’s house worked out great for our stay at the lake. We had guests come and go and were able to accommodate everyone (including some 4 legged family members). There was plenty of space, kitchen was great for meals at the house. Our friends brought their boat and Mary was able to guide us to the boat ramp and we were able to store the trailer right at the house. Wifi worked well for our daughter who needed to do some work while there. Totally enjoyed our stay!

We're a family of five from North Carolina. Lake Keowee has been our family's "happy place" since 2012. Time moves slower here, and there's no better place to relax and connect with family. We are midwesterners originally and cheer for Purdue (our alma matter), Clemson (of course), and now Chapel Hill!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is in the best part of the lake, surrounded by other gorgeous newer homes and convenient to everything Seneca/Clemson have to offer. We have no HOA, so you don't have to jump through hoops or books of rules while trying to enjoy the lake. Our neighbors are kind, mostly permanent residents, and as long as you respect them and their spaces, you'll have a great time!

Our home vibe is "comfortable". You'll actually feel good here and won't feel on edge in our home. We also pay attention to detail; our home isn't full of leftover family furniture from decades ago (as are so many rentals). Almost everything is brand new as of 2024. We want you to feel up to date, relevant, and comfortable while on vacation. Our property is unique because it's not part of a neighborhood, (many of which have older permanent residents who frankly loathe renters and watch them like hawks). We respect our neighbors and expect guests to, too, but it's just a house on the lake when you're here, and it's ALL yours. We're ten minutes to the marina, ten minutes to ice cream/gas, and five minutes to the Lighthouse Restaurant. By car, we're just five minutes from a gas station, liquor store, and Dollar General, and just ten minutes to literally everything else. Clemson is a quick 20 minute drive door-to-door. Awesome hiking to 100' waterfalls is just fifteen minutes away!
