En enkel cykeltur eller vandring till Wellfleets många stränder och dammar, vårt hem byggt 2014, har en öppen planlösning, enormt bra rum med högt tak, gas spis och takfläkt, öppet kök med alla bekvämligheter, frukost bar, matplats platser 8, avskärmad i veranda, däck med Weber Gasgrill, två sovrum med dubbelsängar och extra stort tredje sovrum med två enkelsängar och dubbla rullar (plats för en spjälsäng); stort loft rum har en dubbel futon och stor TV: 2. 5 badrum och utomhusdusch. Huset är luftkonditionerat och vackert anlagd med plats för lek i den stora trädgården. Perfekt för familjegrupper eller två familjer med barn att dela. Det finns två kajaker, massor av solstolar, två cyklar och babysaker (spjälsäng, barnstol och bilstol.) En mil till havet, till bukten och i staden. Bra hundar välkomna

A great spot in Wellfleet

We just enjoyed a lovely two week stay. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more responsive when we had questions. The house was comfortable, quiet, well equipped and cozy!

Wonderful Getaway

A wonderful place

Well-appointed, bright, spacious, private, tastefully-decorated home located with easy access to all the wonderful local things - beaches, ponds, PTown, farmers markets, hiking, walking, birding, cafes, bookshop, etc. Our Chihuahua gets excited every year for this vacation, making a beeline to his favorite sunbeam spot in the living room.

Wonderful home to rent!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Hill. The house comfortably fit our family and golden retriever. The house is well provisioned and we loved the screened in porch at the rear. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which allowed for privacy. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for the quintessential Wellfleet experience.

Lovely Stay at a Lovely Home

We really enjoyed our two-week stay at this home in a lovely spot in Wellfleet. We have been vacationing in Wellfleet for the past 25 years and have stayed at many vacation homes. This one is among the best!! Great location and home design, near to towns and beaches yet quietly tucked away in a neighborhood. The home has space to gather together and also to seek solitude when needed. The outside garden was in bloom and made for many relaxing morning coffee hours. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!!

Wonderfully Cozy Fall Retreat

We returned to this wonderful home after our summer vacation and very much enjoyed it in the fall season. The gas burning fireplace in the living room was wonderful for a cozy evening! Love this home and thank Peter and Leslie again for being gracious and welcoming hosts

Great vacation home

This clean and spacious home has everything you need, a perfect homebase, to do all the Cape things. Going to the beach, swimming, kayaking, riding bikes, cooking in, grilling, chilling, watching movies, etc. It is close to Wellfleet center and just a short drive to Town. The owners are great - friendly and responsive.

Great 3 day getaway

The house was bright and airy. We had no issues at all and the host was very quick to respond and available. The deck was divided into an outdoor open area and a screened in area which was really nice. Would highly recommend.

From the start I knew this was going to be great - Peter and Leslie are very responsive and nice people. The house is well maintained , just as billed. Great location, quiet , lots of options for sitting both outside and inside. A pleasure for sure.

Beautiful property on dead end street

We had a lovely stay. The gardens surrounding this house are beautiful. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was responsive when we had questions and the beach chairs and boogy boards provided were perfect for our days on the beach. The bike path is a short drive away as is Wellfleet Center. The dead end street was a good place for kids to play. Great house!

Beautiful property on the most beautiful town on Cape Cod

This was the first time staying at Rose Hill. My sister stayed last year and recommended it highly. I will do the same! The house is in a beautiful setting, all the amenities you need, it is clean and well laid out. Leslie's directions for our stay were very thorough and much appreciated. Truly Perfect Summer Stay

We were so excited to rent Rose Hill Cottage again and delighted to see the new cheerful perennial gardens and the beautifully redone bathrooms. With improvements like these, we know this is a well-loved home. The house is so comfortable and easy, and yet also is art-filled and beautiful. It has every amenity you need and is in a perfect location near Wellfleet town center and pointing toward Truro and Provincetown. Peter and Leslie are very responsive and lovely people. We can't think of a better place to stay in Wellfleet!

Beautiful property met all our needs

My husband and I stayed for 5 days for my daughter's wedding with my daughter and her boyfried, my son and his girlfriend and two dogs. The bridal party go dressed and made up for the wedding day in the house. The house was spacious and comfortable with plenty of areas for activities. When we had a problem with internet access, we got a prompt response. We would definitely stay here again. It was wonderful.

A lovely place for friends to gather

Leslie and Peter's property was a dream. It perfectly suited the 9 of us who were getting together for a girls weekend. The house was spotlessly clean and the floorplan/openness of the house made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other's company. The location was also ideal to be able to get out and enjoy the town of Wellfleet. Leslie and Peter were excellent hosts and made the entire process of booking, checking in, and checking out very easy. I would highly recommend Leslie and Peter's house to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful and Charming, Everything at your Fingertips!

We arrived at Rose Hill Cottage with high expectations this summer of 2020. Happily we were not one bit disappointed and could not agree more with prior reviewers that this home makes for a charmed getaway! It's lovely and spacious, well laid out, with a great location near town center and pretty much everything you could ever need or want on vacation. Just the respite we needed during these quarantine times. Thanks so much Leslie and Peter for sharing your wonderful and scrupulously cared for home! We had the best time.

Beautiful home in best part of cape

This is our second stay and we hope to return. 4 stars instead of 5 cause of intermittant wifi which was no fault of owners and adequate but not stocked kitchen. Woodsy so no lawn area for children. But the friendliness of the owners and layout and furnishing of house far surpass any blips. We would love to keep returning to this very spot

Great location in Wellfleet

Comfortable, well maintained house located just past Moby Dick’s in Wellfleet. Great location for easy access to village and beaches. Quiet neighborhood, private lot. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the enclosed porch to relax outside at any time of day! Beautiful rose bushes and hydrangeas add to the charm. The towels could use some replacing, many show signs of wear. But we went at the end of the season, so that may be why. Keyless entry a plus.

Hi, We are Peter and Leslie .We live in Washington DC but have always dreamed of having a family home on Cape Cod where everyone can gather from 1 to 101. We love exploring the outer Cape, swimming in the secret ponds, biking the paths in Provincetown and enjoying all that Wellfleet has to offer. We have two dogs who love walking on the beach and playing in the ocean. And yes, our house is dog friendly.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Peter grew up in Connecticut so he is a New Englander. Leslie was born in Massachusetts but left when she was a child. Discovering the Cape felt like coming home. We knew if we ever bought a vacation home, it would be in Wellfleet. We are learning to be Welfleetians and love its history and small town feel. We found our house in the middle of a snow storm. It was only half built but we both knew it was right.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love the quiet street, and the view from the porch into deep woods of the Herring River Estuary. We see all kinds of wild life in the early evening, once even a coywolf. The great room makes the house special, large enough for everyone to gather and to eat , the porch is where we gather in the early evening and in cooler weather, the gas fireplace warms the whole house. We also like having one master on the ground level. Lets us have lots of guests and still have our private space.
