Denna sommarstuga ligger i vackra Point Judith, Narragansett, RI ett privat område känt som Breakwater Village. The Village har en privat strand (mindre än 1 minuts promenad bort) och privat skräp samling och är vackert anlagd. Ett familjeorienterat samhälle med vissa heltidsinvånare men mestadels sommar-säsongshyrare. Denna stuga är en två sovrum: en queen size-säng, en tvilling och en futon och ett nyrenoverat badkar med och utomhusdusch. Det är fullt möblerat med elektrisk spis, kylskåp, platt-TV med kabel och WiFi. Stugan innehåller allt bestick, tallrikar, kastruller, kaffebryggare, brödrost, mixer, etc. Huset har en tvättmaskin men ingen torktumlare. Insidan totala bostadsyta är ungefär 600 kvm och kan rymma fyra vuxna lätt. Denna sommarstuga ligger på ett mycket önskvärt läge i byn eftersom det är en mycket kort promenad till stranden och har en fantastisk veranda för att titta på havet. Det finns också en uteplats; grill och parkering på plats för tre bilar men besökare platser i närheten. Det finns ett fiskeområde och en båtlansering i Galilea inte långt borta. Block Island, som kan ses från det främre däck är 9 miles utanför kusten av Village och färjan är cirka 1/2 promenad. Utomhusområdet är ett mindre fotavtryck men det finns en del plats att sitta på. Om du gillar stranden, fiske, fisk- och skaldjursrestauranger, fina middagar på en topprestaurang - Spanien, besök i Block Island, Narragansett Beach-området, Rhode Islands fantastiska strandkust, traditioner som kommer att bestå för evigt, bör du fråga om den här egenskapen. Perfect stay

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cottage is modern and comfortable with everything you need. The proximity to the private beach makes for an easy beach day. Close to Galilee and local restaurants.

Adorable Cottage!

The cottage is a sweet modern home. Sitting out on the front deck, you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore. A quick 2 minute walk and you are right onto the beach, gorgeous! It was just what we needed and would love to stay again.

Great little place with easy access to a private beach.

We loved the neighborhood feel of Breakwater Village. Everyone was friendly in this small private community. The cottage accommodated two adults comfortably, and offered the basic necessities without any frills which suited us just fine. The owner Tom is easy to work with and truly cares about the people who rent his property. We had a wonderful week and loved the beaches!

Great Location

Tom’s cottage is in a nice private community, steps away from a private beach which also leads to a dog friendly public beach and the Point Judith Lighthouse. The cottage has been nicely updated, and was perfect for our week long stay. While we spent most of our time enjoying local dining options, the kitchen was fully stocked with essentials if you prefer to grocery shop and cook your meals in. Not only is the location steps from the beach, it is only a short drive to much that RI has to offer, including the ferry to Block Island minutes away. Tom lives nearby in the same community and is readily available if needed for anything during your stay. We had a great stay and would stay here again!

All We Hoped For and More

If you haven't spent a week in Breakwater Village, this is a great place to make your first. We've stayed in Breakwater Village before and loved the location, so we had high expectations for our stay -- this exceeded those high expectations! The place had recently been remodeled - everything was very modern, clean, and new. The check-in process was seamless and Tom is an incredibly responsive host (he lives just a few houses down). This house also has parking for 2 cars comfortably (3 if you know how to park), which is huge for Breakwater Village. Only one piece of advice, which is hopefully not a problem for you -- the main bed is very soft (a little too soft for our achey backs) -- if you have back troubles, I suggest bringing a mattress topper haha Hoping to return next year!

Summer fun

The cottage was very modern and clean. You'll have all the amenities you'll possibly need. Tom makes sure of that. The toaster went missing and Tom replaced that very day. Tom supplied us with enough paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags to last the whole trip. Very much appreciated. If you do a lot of your own cooking you'll have everything. Grill tools, propane, and all the inside cookware. Location is wonderful. 1 minute walk to the beach, and all the neighbors we met were very nice. Great places to eat all within a 5 minute drive. Just a wonderful place to spend a summer vacation!

Great Location and incredible sunsets

First, this is Barney not Barbara. I had a great visit at Tom’s place. It was clean and and had a well stocked kitchen. I am a kayak fishing enthusiast, his place is a short distance to the beach so I was able to walk the kayak and launch in minutes. I loved having an outdoor shower and a porch. Tom was easy to contact and answered right away. It was off season and the neighborhood was quiet with little traffic. I would recommend the place for small families and couples. I would recommend that the outdoor grill have a good gleaned or replaced. I loved walking over to the beach when the sky was clear and taking pictures of the sunsets.

Breakwater never disappoints

Immaculate cottage was just enough for my husband, myself and our19 year old for a comfortable week. Loved sitting on front deck in the evening and having ocean breeze at night and early morning. Tom, the owner, was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had prior to our arrival. Proximity to beach access can't be beat! Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Stay

Enjoyed a relaxing week in this comfortable, clean beach cottage. The living space was ample. Beds quite comfortable. Washer/dryer, outdoor shower and two AC's were welcome percs. Just a quick walk to the private beach and amazing sunsets, yet we could hear the ocean while sitting on the deck. Tom, the gracious owner, greeted us upon arrival and was readily available to answer questions. Looking forward to a return vacation!

Quaint cottage close to ocean

Spent a relaxing week at this quaint little cottage. Only a 5 minute walk to the private beach. Sunsets were amazing and the highlight of every day here. We met so many friendly people while walking in the village. Thomas, the owner, was very responsive with my many questions and a couple of minor issues we had during the week. The window ac cooled the entire cottage except the small bedroom in back. It was easily solved by sleeping on one of the 2 futons in the living room. Otherwise there were 3 window fans which were great on the not so humid days. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, including a gas grill outside. The outdoor shower is something I did not know was missing from my life, convenient! Be warned the dining room area does not have any outlets close by. I had to string 2 extension cords together so I could work at the table. Also there aren’t any closets so storage space is limited. The addition of over the door hooks for the bedrooms would be a great help. Stores and restaurants are just a short drive from the village. Highly recommend this cottage!

We are very respectful and attentive owners who take pride in our beautiful Cottage to ensure that our guests are comfortable, and enjoy their vacation. Because w live in northern RI, we are able to take care of any issues quickly and keep the cottage clean and up-to-date regularly. We like to meet and greet you if/when you rent.

Varför värden valde detta boende

As with any vacation, it's all about location. This beautiful cottage is very short walk to the private beach and dumpster (which may sound strange but it's important when you don't have to drive to get rid of your trash). Also, you don't have to walk a longer distance to get to the beach (less than 1 minute) and can run back and forth, (especially to the bathroom) The Cottage has gone through a complete renovation completed in June 2002; with lots of amenities like your own home only at the beach with a great view of the water from the deck. Just renovated the bathroom this summer. The cottage also has an air conditioners for those who prefer it to cool ocean breeze.
New outdoor shower! The Cottage has a washer and dryer for your towels or bathing suits, and because it is close to the water, the summer nights get cooled with a nice ocean breeze. Linen included; no pets or smoking.

Parking is somewhat of an issue in the village for some cottages. I'm happy to say that our cottage has enough space for 3 or 4 cars and there is a lot close by with visitor spots. This cottage faces the ocean. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Cleanliness and comfort is key. We are also close by and are very attentive to our guests to ensure your utmost enjoyable summer vacation. If you need something, just ask! The unique benefits of this cozy cottage are many; but this cottage is also located in a very desirable part of Breakwater Village , Point Judith, RI, that is more spacious and open air. as well.
