Our 1st time in RI and we will be back. This little cottage was the perfect spot. A beautiful and convenient area. We explored URI and Newport. I was happy I got to meet the owners. They made us feel welcomed. Thank for sharing your place with us.

Great cottage literally steps from the beach!!

My wife booked us for my birthday weekend and we had a blast. I hadn't realized how close we were to the beach - leave your bedroom windows open and you can hear the waves crashing in!!! The beach is just steps away so we grabbed a blanket and breakfast and sat watching the surfers out riding the waves. About the best way to start your day or see the stars out at night. We brought our bikes and the few restaurants and bars are just a couple of blocks away. Most folks just walk to them. The small market is maybe 5 minutes by car and has everything you'd need too. Cottage was perfect for us, cozy, with a nice living area and 2 bedrooms, efficiency kitchen and full sized fridge. Nice little yard too so we could store the bikes there, table and chairs and small fire pit and grill. Would definitely return. Loved it.

Great beach location

We had a short stay, only two nights but we really enjoyed the community and proximity to the beach. The house is very cozy and was perfect for our needs. It is close to a lot of historical sites and walking trails and we loved just walking through the neighborhoods looking at the beautiful properties and beach views.

Cute Oceanside Cottage

There were just 2 of us who stayed at the propery, and it was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but very cute. Close to Route 1 for getting around and it had all the little necessities. Check in and out was easy. Communication was excellent. Wouldefinitely stay again.

Little gem by the sea!

Everything was wonderful. The weather could have cooperated a bit more! Remember it gets very windy by the water! Hoodies were a requirement, but that didn’t deter our enjoyment!

Great Honeymoon Location

Beautiful clean cottage right on the beach which was the best part. The whole process was easy and Melanie is open and informative with the checkin and our process. A truly wonderful trip!

Great location, but not for tall people!

The property was small, but well kept and tidy. We met the owner in passing and he was super kind and welcoming. He communicated that the fire pit had broken prior to our arrival and he replaced it promptly. And the beach is literally steps away!! The only downside is that my husband is 6’ 4” and bumped his head several times on the light and door frames. We were there less than 48 hours so it was doable, but he wouldn’t have lasted a week. I’m much shorter and had no issues. Outside of the property… our guest rep sent a very inappropriate text that she explained away, but made me feel less than comfortable reaching out again. It was a small thing but soured the experience a bit.

much needed last minute relax time

Much needed last minute relax time, two nights in a cozy cottage steps from the beach. The cottage was a breath of fresh air. A light, airy, clean and had everything needed to enjoy a stay. Full kitchen and private outdoor grilling and dining area. The beach was very quiet and all to ourselves. We didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to return.

Amazing cottage for mini vacation!

Stayed at this property for a getaway weekend and could not have had a better time! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Direct access to the beach and the surrounding area is beautiful with so many activities. I would definitely want to stay here again.

Perfect Weekend

Wonderful stay at a great property. Location could not be better — walked to beaches, restaurants, coffee shop, surf shop. The house is very cute and has everything you need. Waking up to the sound of the ocean — what could be better? Property manager was very helpful and responsive to questions. 2nd time staying here; looking forward to coming back for a 3rd visit!

Long weekend getaway

Amazing location, sweet little spot!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our ladies weekend! The location is unbelievable. We enjoyed both coffee in the morning and a sunset cocktail on the beach. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We definitely look forward to coming back!

Great Place

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing getaway after our daughter's wedding...this place was exactly what we were looing for! It was clean, comfortable and an easy walk to the beach. We actually had to change the reservations at the last minute and the owner was extremely available and helpful.

We had great communication with the property manager with succinct check in details and responsiveness with a few initial concerns. the beach was a beautiful spot and we were close to Narragansett and its attractions. Unfortunately, we did leave this rental early due to our experience with the property itself. We found the couch to be tired and dirty. Ripped weather stripping on door allow bugs to come in. Dirty finger prints on high touch areas of doors. One A/C window unit for the cottage with black moldy material in the vents. Other concerns were minor but numerous. Lots of great potential for this location but fell short for us.

Summer getaway before college

Nice little cottage steps to private beach. Well maintained cottage, easy to communicate with owners who were very helpful. Lots of towels, blankets and amply supplied kitchen. Manatuck is a great little town and there are restaurants, shops a coffee place and an ice cream shop all within walking distance from the cottage. We had a very nice week with our daughters making memories.

Great location

Obviously a beautiful location in Matunuck. The house was smaller than anticipated but served us well. My only criticism is that the kitchen really isn't conducive to cooking - super small, no oven, and not very well-stocked. Everything else was great!

Perfect Getaway!

Staying at the Sandcastle was the perfect romantic getaway. Nothing but relaxation in a secluded area on the water; EXACTLY what we were hoping for. Can’t wait for our next trip back!
