Vår stuga har varit helt redone med vackra inre kanalen tall ytterväggar, vinylgolv, rustika timmer accenter och tenn kök back-plask, bara för att nämna några av höjdpunkterna som skapar en Black Bear tema. Castle altandörrar leder till ett stort däck som kör längden av byggnaden och har utsikt över en groda damm med vattenfall. Området besöks med Black Bear besök, därav namnet. Platsen ligger i hjärtat av 23.000 tunnland Delaware State Forest och ligger i anslutning till Promised Land State Park erbjudande, simning, vandring, Mountainbike, jakt, snöskoter, allt från ytterdörren, listan kan göras lång!

FUN at Promised Land

We had family at Promised Land State Park and were only a few minute drive away at this cabin. The cabin was comfortable and had a wonderful little frog pond, fire pit and back deck. It was perfect for hosting family dinners and the wifi worked well. loved being able to bring our dog.

We had great time at oir cabin. Its nice cozy cabin with all the required amenities . We had easy access to the Stare Park and the surrounding interested ares,. Was able to contact the host if we have any question and issues . I highly recommended the place Thanks

Relaxing, comfortable stay near Promised Land

Great place to stay so close to Promised Land state park. Comfortably cool with A/C, lots of trees, everything needed. Fast internet and TV, but mostly spent time exploring the area - just down the road from kayaking, biking, and literally out the door for hiking. Owner was very responsive and kind with requests. Would stay again.

Quiet cabin getaway

Spent a long weekend here with two doggies! It was perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable and close to plenty of places to eat, hike and explore. Would absolutely go back!

Great Pocono Getaway

Checking in was so easy. Jon the owner was very helpful with questions. The cabin was clean and spacious. We loved listening to the frogs at night when we were at the campfire. It's very close to swimming and boat rentals. I can't wait to be able to stay again

Nice cabin - very close to Promised Land State Park

Jon was a terrific host - he was very accessible before and throughout our stay, and was especially helpful when we had a special need partway through our visit. The cabin was a very short drive to Promised Land State Park - it was a quiet and secluded, yet very convenient spot. The cabin was clean and organized, and provided everything as listed. Overall a great spot to stay at when visiting Promised Land.

Promise Land

Very easy check in. Jon was very responsive to out text. Cabin was cute and clean. Our dog was very interested in the frogs at the pond and the chipmunks running around.

Relaxing Retreat

Wonderful time away to enjoy the Fall colors and the beautiful Promised Land State Park. Very convenient location near the park to spend the day hiking the trails. The cabin was cozy & clean with all of the essentials. Jon was very responsive and a great host. He alerted us right away to let us know we’d left something behind & we were able to return to the cabin to retrieve it. So thankful!

Charming Cabin in the Woods

We had a great time staying at this property. Check-in couldn't be easier and Jon was a great host. It is off the beaten path but not to far from grocery stores, restaurants and activities. We visit the area to hike and enjoy the scenery so it is perfect for our needs. In our opinion there is no where on earth prettier than "The Promised Land". We had a blast and were very comfortable in the "Bear Cabin". We definitely look forward to staying again next year.

Mountain Retreat

This is our second time staying here. Last year, we stayed 3 nights; this year we stayed for 4. The house is cozy and comfortable! Just as advertised. Clean and spacious for 2 adults and 2 dogs! Convenient to Promised Land hiking trails and other local attractions.

Nice little cabin

The cabin was exactly as advertised—nice, clean, well-equipped. Directions were clear and the location was ideal for visiting Promised Land park. The cabin was nicely decorated with a bear motif and the smart TV was a welcome addition. We had a very nice stay and would definitely go back.

Bear cabin

Nice little home, we parked our boat there, the boat and trailer is 20ft and we hit both promised land and lake Wallenpaupack. Jon was very helpful and we would use again.
