Transitioning

My family and I stayed at Vince’s house while we checked out the area and looked for a house to move to. The house was very nice and Vince is a great host. He provided great communication and was able toProvide anything we needed the same day we asked for it. My only suggestion would be to get some dressers and more hangers. The here is nowhere to put your clothes. We basically lived out of our suitcases.

Greenwood's Lavender Haze

The location was great, however there were a few necessities lacking. No pans for the oven. Not even one baking sheet. Plastic dishes for 3-4 people. Plastic glassware. Plastic is not the greatest to eat or drink out of. I’m sure many folks eat out, so may not be an issue for some. Im glad the proprietor provided a toaster after I asked and we did use it. I never figured out the heat/cooling system. Fan was on constantly. Granted I got used to it. Spices were definitely scant. But there was coffee and sugar, yay! Parking was fine on the street. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and the bedroom linens and towels were fine. The TV worked however the couch was very uncomfortable and overall the LR area could have used a few more chairs. The one plant they had there was dead. I might stay there again because of location, but there is so much more the owners could do to really make this an excellent stay!

Terrible experience

We had a very terrible experience to put it lightly. In all my years traveling, I’ve never been cancelled, until now. Poor communication on the management side led to the cancellation of our reservation without any notice, 2 days before we were to arrive. They emailed 1 day in advance asking our check in time but they claimed to have already cancelled us, which I saw en route on the app, so we scrambled to find alternate lodging for my medical tests and treatments. Then he tried to force me to cancel and forfeit the deposit. VRBO had to demand they cancel and refund in full, twice. Be aware this is a managed property not a private list. I DO NOT recommend. I’m disabled but communicated very clearly and in advance when I would be able to complete their “pre check” and did complete all requirements, despite their claims that I didn’t. Be aware they require all costs to be paid on a separate platform and they want both sides of your ID plus a selfie to “verify” your identity. Their platform is so buggy it didn’t work properly then they blamed me. This situation caused me severe distress during an already distressful time. Overzealous management company that has no clue how to properly manage rental properties, which is why I was able to do this review. I’ve been a private property management for over 10 years plus corporate for over 3, and this is not how you treat people. These people need extensive training in hospitality and management. Stay away!
